HISTÓRIA
O futebol americano tem uma história que remonta ao século XIX, quando

A primeira partida de futebol americano registrada ocorreu em 1869, entre

com a criação de ligas profissionais, como a NFL em 1920, e a popularização

Possession of the ball: The team has four attempts
(called downs) to advance at least 10 yards. If they
succeed, they get four more attempts
TEAMS
Each team consists of 11 players on the field. There are
offensive and defensive teams, which alternate during
the game.
OBJECTIVE
The objective of the game is to advance with the ball
to the opponent's end zone to score points. Each
touchdown (when the ball is taken to the end zone) is
worth 6 points.
History
American football has a history that dates back to the 19th century, when ball
games were played by indigenous peoples of North America. However, it was at
universities in the United States that sport began to develop as an organized
activity. The first recorded American football game took place in 1869, between
teams from Rutgers University and Princeton University. Over the years, the sport
