USO
Usamos o present continuous:
 Para falar de ações que se desenrolam no momento em que se fala.
Ex: I am talking to you.

 Para falar de ações temporárias.

Ex: We are having private English classes.

 Para falar de projectos num futuro próximo.

Ex: She is meeting her best friend.

 Com os seguintes advérbios de tempo ou expressões adverbiais:

o Now, at the moment, at present, tonight …
Ex: They are riding a bike now.

SPEELING RULES
 Retirar o –e no verbos terminado em –e
Ex: She is dancing. (dance)
 Dobrar a ultima letra dos verbos com uma só sílaba terminados em
CVC (consoante, vogal, consoante)
Ex: She is running at the park. (run)
 Retirar o –ie no verbos terminado em –ie e colocar –y +ing
Ex: She is lying in the sun. (lie)
