GERAÇÃO DA VIRAGEM TURNING GENERATION

Respostas Inclusivas e Percepções
Excluidoras
Vem se debatendo nos últimos tempos sobre a desig-
nação "Geração da Viragem" instituída pelo presidente da Re-
pública. Esta expressão ganhou respostas e percepções distin-
tas. O magnifico reitor da UEM, manifestou dificuldades em
perceber o enquadramento lógico a que se da a expressão, ou
seja o que o autor queria explicar. Nos dias que correm, a expr-
essão "Geração da Viragem" esta na ponta da língua de todos
cidadãos. Estes socorrem-se dela para responder alguma ques-
tão de desafio ou mesmo de estímulo para alguma acção.
O que é ser Geração? O que é ser da Viragem?
Se todos tivermos respostas para as duas questões ac-
ima citadas, facilmente perceberemos quais eram realmente as
intenções do autor da mesma, porque respostas inclusivas e p-
ercepções excluidoras, vem surgindo de vários cidadãos. Algu-
ns pouco sabem o que a mesma significa, talvez porque a ach-
aram linda, usam-na como slogan. Quando o autor instituiu e-
ssa expressão, acredito que tinha boas intenções, mas dificilm-
ente percebemos uma mensagem quando há ruídos de comun-
icação, dai que ela vem sendo questão de debate.
Para o autor, geração da viragem refere-se a todos os que
participam ou fazem parte do combate a pobreza absoluta ou
do desenvolvimento do País. Alguns jovens percebem que a
"Geração da Viragem" é a hora de a camada jovem assumir o
que lhes pertence.

Perceptions and inclusive response

Has been struggling in recent times about the term
"Generation Turning" instituted by the president. This expressi-

eral citizens. Some little know what it means, perhaps because they found
beautiful, use it as a slogan. When the author introduced this term, I belie-
ve had good intentions, but hardly noticed a message when there is noise
of communication, hence she has been a matter of debate.
For the author, the generation shift refers to all those who pa-
rticipate or are part of the fight against absolute poverty or the develo-
pment of the country Some young people perceive that the "Generati-
on of the Turn" is the time for the youngsters who take them belongs.
Mozambique is beautiful and pretty, hence it is very
young, 35 years of colonial independence, but still dependent
on donations to the state budget, and investments in various
economic areas. I believe that the President looked at these
desire that we start to be young, contributing to 100% for the
state budget, and that we achieve our economic independence,
this means that that we are the generation of the shift, when all
are in pursuit of an activity for the development of our country,

The Mozambican Youth Vision has been working hard
on improving the visual identity to the satisfaction also of the
demands of our consumers. First was a change in the layout of
the magazine. Next came the turn of the website The same exp-
erienced serious changes igraphic design, thereby facilitating
the lives of visitors and advertisers. The logo of the association
was not on hand, since the graphics were facing serious difficul-
ties when it comes to stamping t-shirts, banners, roll up, etc..
With these steps, it is expecte that the medium term,
both the magazine and the website, companies may be of inter-
est for the advertisement of products and services and can also
generate revenue for the sustenance of Mozambican Youth Vi-
sion Association.

entidades individuais.
After an intensive and unrelenting campaign in order to
raise funds for the wedding ceremony of 12 couples positive, posit-
ive results were taken by different identities, which expressed the-
ir readiness to support this wind only, which will take place on 9
July at 14:00 in the ballroom of the Association for the Fight Aga-
inst Poverty.
The event has the support of the First Lady of the Munici-
pality of Maputo, the Sasseka Africom, Association Against Pove-
rty, Mozambican Youth Vision Association, the Association of Al-
ternative Route, HIXIKANWE Association, various individual id-

Fashion Student's Vision for July

Trata-se de um projecto para escolas, que vai promover diversas

actividades de âmbito cultural e recreativo, como feiras exclusiv-
as, testes vocacionais, acções de sensibilização sobre o HIV-SID-
parceiros e apoios
A, combate ao consumo de drogas no seio da juventude académ-
ica tudo em volta do concurso de moda e desfile. Os concorrente-
s serão os estudantes, do ensino básico, médio, e médio técnico
profissional, saídos de um casting, onde os vencedores do conc-
urso serão apurados por votos, via SMS, bem como do júri.
As Inscrições terão lugar em 10 escolas da cidade e proví-
ncia de Maputo num espaço de duas semanas, seguido do casting,
e posteriormente a fase final, que vai comportar 8 galas, a realizare-
m-se no salão de festas da Escola secundária Josina Machel. As ga-
las terão a duração de dois meses, com o fim previsto para Setemb-
ro.
O projecto tem como Embaixadora a Kátia Vanessa Omar Ibr-
ahimo, e até ao momento tem como parceiros : Top Rádio, Jor-
nal @verdade, Centro de Formação Indústrial, Wake Up, Agê-
ncia Gráfia Pixel, Água Montemor, CEMO e ISCTEM.

sts, awareness about HIV / AIDS, combating drug use within t-
he academic youth all around the contest and fashion show. C-
ompetitors will be students of primary, secondary and seconda-
ry technical training, out of a casting, where the winners will be
cleared for a vote, via SMS, and the jury.
The Registration will take place in 10 schools in the ci-
ty and Maputo province in the space of two weeks, followed by
casting, and then the finals, which will include eight galas, to be
held in the ballroom of Josina Machel Secondary School. The
gala will last for two months, with the expected ending in Sept-
ember.

ALUNOS IGNORAM BENEFÍCIOS DE DENUNCIAR CORRUPTOS
STUDENTS IGNORE BENEFITS TO DENOUNCE CORRUPT
O Procurador-Geral da República, Augusto
Paulino, exortou aos cidadãos moçambicanos a
denunciarem quaisquer manifestações de enriq-
uecimento ilícito, considerando ser esta uma da-
s formas mais importantes de combate a corrup-
ção.
Augusto Paulino lançou este desafio durante uma
palestra que orientou, na Escola Secundária Noroeste Um,
na Cidade de Maputo, sobre corrupção e legalidade, no âmbi-
to da visita que vem efectuando a algumas instituições da cap-
ital moçambicana. Quando o Procurador-geral da República
orientava a palestra sobre corrupção, um aluno daquele estab-
elecimento de ensino perguntou o que ele ganharia ao denunc-
iar os corruptos.
Esta pergunta, colocada na maior inocência, revela a
falta de noção por parte dos estudantes daquela escola, dos
malefícios da corrupção e a necessidade urgente de a comb-
ater. Curioso é que antes de iniciar a sua breve dissertação,
Paulino pediu a cinco alunos para definirem 'corrupção' e eles
o fizeram de forma correcta.
“O que ganha? O primeiro ganho é o prestígio; o segu-
ndo é a possibilidade do dinheiro ser distribuído para mais pe-
s soas, não a uma pessoa; e o terceiro ganho é o prestígio da pá-
tria, tanto dentro como fora do país”, respondeu Augusto Pauli-
no, sublinhando que “temos que ter dignidade”.

The Attorney General's Office, Augusto Paulino,
has urged the Mozambican citizens to report any
evidence of illegal enrichment, considering this is
one of the most important ways to combat corrup-
tion.
Augusto Paulino threw the challenge during a talk that
advised in a Northwest High School, , in Maputo City, about corr-
uption and and legality in the context of the visit that has been
paying tosome institutions in the Mozambican capital. When
the Attorney General's Office directed the talk about corruption,
a student that the school asked what he would win by denouncin-
g the corrupt.
This question, raised in all innocence, reveals the lack
of sense on the part of students of that school, the evils of corru-
ption and the urgent need to combat. It is curious that before
beginning his brief essay, Pauline asked five students to define
'corruption' and they did it correctly.
"What wins? The first is to gain the prestige and the secon-

not one person, and the third is to gain the prestige of the coun-
try, both inside and outside the country, "said Augusto Paulino

O presidente moçambicano, Armando Guebuza, avalia positivamente o des-

fecho da 25ª Cimeira África-França, um evento de dois dias em Nice, uma cidade
do Sul deste país europeu.Guebuza explicou que a Cimeira tinha como objectivo estr-
eitar ainda mais as relações entre o continente e a França, e ter neste país europeu
um parceiro que entenda melhor os problemas africanos. Segundo Guebuza, isso vai
facilitar defender as posições de África nos fóruns internacionais, sobretudo no G8,
G20 e na Organização das Nações Unidas.
Para Guebuza, esse objectivo foi alcançado, a avaliar pela manifestação do
seu homólogo francês, Nicolas Sarkozy. Refira-se que os principais temas da Cimeira
eram a Governação Mundial; Paz e Segurança; Clima e Desenvolvimento”. Sobre a
governação mundial, o estadista moçambicano explicou que existe uma proposta ap-
oiada pelo presidente Sarkozy e que teve imediata aprovação de todos os africanos
para que o continente esteja representado ao nível do G8 e do G20, com um assento
permanente, através de um membro da União Africana, assim como o presidente da
Comissão Africana.

GUEBUZA MAKES POSITIVE ASSESSMEMNT OF THE
AFRICA-FRANCE
Peace and Security, Climate and Development.
The Mozambican president, Armando Guebuza, welcomes the outcome of the
25th Africa-France Summit, a two-day event in Nice, a city i n the south of the country
europeu.Guebuza explained that the summit was aimed at strengthening further the
relations between the mainland and France in this European country and have a pa-
rtner who understands best the problems in Africa. According to Guebuza, this will
help defend the position of Africa in international fora, particularly the G8, and G20
at the United Nations.
For Guebuza, this was achieved, judging by the manifestation of his French
counterpart, Nicolas Sarkozy. It should be noted that the main themes of the Summit
was the Global Governance, Peace and Security, Climate and Development ". On glob-
al governance, the Mozambican state explained that there is a proposal backed by Pr-
esident Sarkozy and who had immediate approval of all Africans for the continent to
be represented in the G8 and G20, with a permanent seat, by a member of AfricanUni-
on, as well as chairman of the African Commission.

alguns outros comportamentos”, e eu não queria
estar com estas pessoas, apesar de que eram bons
rappers...

A infância?
Ivete: A minha infância foi no
bairro do museu, na av. Patrice Lumumba,
recordo-me q ue levava porrada todos os
dias, porque sempre perdia chinelos nas
barreiras, brinquei muito naquelas barrei-
ras, e raspei-me muito nas costas e pernas...
Perdia sempr na luta entre amigos, e a me-
sma coisa acontecia nos jogos, e u era sem-
pre o elo mais fraco... Enfim, passei a minha
infância ao lado dos meus Pais, e entre os
meus seis irmãos, 3 rapazes e 3 meninas.
Marcos da infância?
Ivete:- ...quando tinha 7 anos ou
...quando tinha 7 anos ou mais, o meu professo-
r sempre falava que nós devíamos ler jornal,
foi então que um peguei no jornal para ler, e
vi qualquer coisa não muito boa, e eu disse
eu quero ser advogada! Isso não vai acontecer
quando eu for advogada! E fiquei com isso na
cabeça até hoje, fiz direito com intuito de ser
advogada, e estou na profissão.
A escola?
Ivete:- Em 1990 ingressei na
escola primária, reprovei na 8 classe, e em
2001 fiz a 10 Classe. Admiti para o ensino supe-
rior no ano 2003 e em 2007 fiz a minha licenci-
atura em direito pela Universidade Eduardo
Mondlane. Fui presidente do Núcleo dos Estu-
dantes da universidade. Em 2005 perdi meu
Pai, e foi muito difícil continuar, eu tinha no
meu Pai, um elemento galvanizador da minha
progressão académica.
Sou docente universitária, nas
cadeiras de filosofia de direito, sociolo-
gia jurídica e direito do ambiente, porqu-
e era meu sonho. Grande parte de estud-
antes que e stá numa universidade, que
se esforça e que vê a sabedoria de um do-
cente, gostaria de estar naquela posiçã-
o... Comecei a dar aulas em 2008, e qua-
ndo era Presidente do núcleo dos estud-
antes reclamava muito dos docentes, e
tento não cometer alguns erros, como
não demorar com os testes, tratar as pes-
soas com urbanidade.
Os primeiros sinais da veia
artística?
Ivete:- Meu Pai era mineiro na
África do Sul, e trazia muito CDS, e a ge-
nte ficava a ouvir aquilo. Era muita novi-
dade!!! ouvíamos e eu dançava muito xitc-
huketa, mas dançava que partia que era
uma coisa (hahahaaha, essa é boa!), até
quando minha família viesse visitar-nos
punham-me a dançar até davam-me dinh-
eiro... mas enquanto criança eu queria mu-
ito ir a uma escola de música, e a minha
mãe dizia que não havia muitas condições,
então não havia como...
...quis participar do festival de
música da criança também não consegui,
então fiquei e cantava na casa de banho,
os meus pais nunca entenderam, mas
nunca desprezaram. Só mais tarde é que
eles notaram que era uma
coisa mais forte e séria! Não deixaram de
me dar apoio e o que fazia com que isso
acontecesse é que eu era comportada, el-
es não viam aquilo como algo que fosse
me desviar, então o pacto foi “dá-nos no-
tas boas (ya escola mesmo!) e faça o que
tu queres”.
Xiiii, não Imaginam as primeiras pref-
erências musicais dela?
Ivete:- Eu gostava de Cantar músi
da Brenda Fassie (vuli dlhela???), Mado-
nna (hehe... “lucky star”???), Michael Jack-
son (já imaginam), Stewart (julietaaa ou
sumanga???), Mingas (xikongolotana, hiii
ka mamane???), mas só mais tarde na ju-
ventude eu me identifiquei com a Lauren
Hill e descobrí que é aquele estilo que eu
quero.
Integração na música?
Ivete:- Entre 96 e 97, senti que a
melhor maneira de sobressair era envolve-
ndo num grupo e procurei isso sempre, fiz
parte de “Sweet girls”, éramos cinco, eu era
a mais nova, por algum motivo uma foi est-
udar fora do País, e não me recordo o que
aconteceu com a outra, mas acontece que
decidamos e conseguimos um amigo,
"Gimo" (ya Gimo!!!). Ele estava disposto a
ajudar-nos e apresentou-nos a um outro
amigo que tinha um estúdio "Skin papes"
( ya, os nomes nem??? Aguenta aí), e esse
estúdio era em Xipamanine.

“THIS IS IT” – UM REI NUNCA MORRE!
EM MEMÓRI A A MICHAEL JACKSON,
1 ANO APÓS A SUA MORTE
No passado dia 25 de Junho fãs do mundo inteiro
lembraram um ano da morte de Michael Jackson,o Rei do Pop,
que criou o passo moonwalk (passo famoso que desliza para
trás, mostrado pela primeira vez na sua primeira actuação do
sucesso Billie Jean).
Muitas homenagens foram feitas ao eterno Rei do Pop,
como forma de mostrar que ele ainda está presente no coração
dos seus fãs, de quem sempre acompanhou a sua carreira e que,
certamente, continuará, visto que MJ (abreviação de Michael
Jackson), mesmo estando ausente fisicamente, ainda está prese-
nte no coração de muitas pessoas e ainda dá que falar.
Na cidade onde passou a infância, Michael Jackson est-
á agora presente. O monumento, em Gari, estado da Indiana, foi
inaugurado no dia 25 de Junho pela sua mãe,Katherine Jackson.
Neste mesmo dia, o mundo inteiro esperava uma multi-
dão em Glendale, mas sem poder visitar o mauso léu onde está
o corpo de Michael Jackson. Lá dentro, só os irmãos. Na porta
do prédio, os fãs que deixaram flores, mensagens e relembrara-
m ali o ídolo que morreu aos 50 anos de idade.
Mais homenagens foram feitas a MJ: ainda nos EUA foi
lançado um livro com 400 páginas sobre a sua vida, esta obra foi
produzida em menos de 40 dias, organizado por Howard Mann,
e feito em parceria com a mãe de MJ. Contém também fotos que
mostram alguns momentos marcantes vividos por MJ e pessoas
queridas, que faziam parte do seu círculo de relações. Uma expo-
sição fotográfica foi feita em Roménia. No Brasil, em São Paulo,
MJ foi homenageado em várias estações de metro, com imagens
em grafite pintadas nas paredes. No Tóquio, os fãs reuniram-se
por frente ao Toquio Tower Neverland Collection, considerado
um santuário sagrado, que expõe algumas peças de MJ, para dan-
çar as coreografias mais famosas de MJ. E até aqui em Moçambi-
que algumas homenagens foram feitas ao Rei do Pop, através da
media e de um espectáculo em memória a MJ.
Antes da sua morte, MJ preparava –se para uma série de
50 shows em Londres, na Arena 02 que deveriam começar no dia
13 de Julho de 2009, e terminar em Março deste ano. Na sua última
noite de vida, Michael estava a cantar e a dançar, o que ele mais go-
stava de fazer. Nestes shows que não chegaram a acontecer, todos
os ingressos se esgotaram em cinco horas no mesmo dia em que fo-
ram colocados à venda e deveriam render ao cantor mais de US$ 50
milhões, segundo cálculos da Billboard. A turnê ‘This Is It’ marcaria
a volta do astro pop à cena musical. Um dado curioso é que o DVD
mostra a performance de 1500 reclusos em reabilitação das Filipin-
as.

A música “This is it”, novidade desta série de shows que
depois deu vida a um filme documentário, foi feita na época dos
anos 80, numa colaboração entre Michael e Polanka, um compos-
itor musical, que depois o quis processar dizendo que Michael a
usara e modificara sem pedir permissão, caso que foi abafado mai-
s tarde pela família de MJ ao pagá-lo para poder deter o direito au-
toral da música.
Falando da sua morte, ela é até hoje cercada de mistério-
s a começar pela causa mortis, divulgada 2 meses depois como ov-
erdose de propofol. Confirmado o lado, o primeiro apontado com-
o responsável foi o cardiologista particular de MJ, o Dr. Conrad
Murray, indiciado por homicídio culposo (quando não há intenção
de matar). No entanto, em Abril deste ano, os seus advogados an-
unciaram que vão recorrer da acção alegando que o próprio Micha-
el terá aplicado si próprio a dose letal do medicamento, configuran-
do suicídio, mas o caso ainda está em tramitação no tribunal.
A sua irmã, LaToya Jackson, insiste que Michael foi assas-
sinado porque valia mais morto, do que vivo. Talvez ninguém nun-
ca prove a tese inteira. A segunda parte da afirmação, entretanto, se
confirma um ano depois da morte do rei do pop, com o cenário que
estamos agora a acompanhar.
Contrariando aqueles que afirmam que as dívidas de MJ
são tão grandes que nem vender todos os seus bens seria o suficien-
te para pagá-las (quando faleceu, em 25 de Junho de 2009, o rei do
pop era assombrado por dívidas que somavam cerca de US$ 500 mi-
lhões), a revista Billboard divulgou há pouco que o espólio dele já lu-
crou mais de US$ 1 bilhão desde a sua morte. De acordo com o site
TMZ, foram descobertos US$ 5.5 milhões, em dinheiro vivo, guarda-
dos com um antigo consultor financeiro. Toda esta soma põe em ch-
eque o valor da herança, anunciada recentemente, a que cada um
dos seus filhos tem direito: US$ 33 milhões.
Pondo este mistério e polémica de lado, o certo é que
Michael Jackson, em vida, vendeu mais de 750 milhões de disc-
os, recebeu 13 prémios Grammys e deixou um legado invejável.

MICHAEL JACKSON IN MEMORY,

On last June 25 fans worldwide remembered a year fro-
m the death of Michael Jackson, the King of Pop, who created
the moonwalk step (step famous that slides back, shown for the
first time in his first action of the hit Billie Jean).
Many tributes were made to the eternal King of Pop as
a way of showing that he is still present in the hearts of his fans,
who always followed his career and that will certainly continue,
since MJ (short for Michael Jackson), even being absent physic-
ally, is still present in the heart of many people and still give tha-
t talk.
In the city where he spent his childhood, Michael Jacks-
on is now present. The monument in Gari, state of Indiana, was
opened on 25 June by her mother, Katherine Jackson. The same
day, the whole world expected a crowd in Glendale, but without
being able to visit the mausoleum where lies the body of Micha-
el Jackson. Inside, only the brothers. At the door of the building,

oard. The tour This Is It' would mark the return of pop star to
the music scene. A curious fact is that the DVD shows the perf-

Dirigentes de dois bancos chineses que conferenciaram,
em Beijing, com o Primeiro-ministro moçambicano, Aires Ali, de
visita a China, asseguram que irão financiar três megaproject-
os económicos em Moçambique, orçadas em 165 milhões de dó-
lares norte-americanos. Deste montante, 65 milhões de dólares se-
rão disponibilizados pelo Banco chinês EXIM, valor que, segun-
do disse o seu vice-presidente, Zhu Hongjie, destinase ao financi-
amento da segunda e última fase da modernização do Aeroporto
Internacional de Maputo, cujo arranque deverá começar ainda
este ano.
Por sua vez, o presidente do Banco Chines para o Dese-
nvolvimento, Jiang Chaoling, revelou que a sua instituição irá
disponibilizar 80 milhões de dólares para a construção de uma
fabrica de cimento na província central de Sofala, com capacida-
de para a produção de 500 mil toneladas por ano. Ele adiantou
que o seu banco ira disponibilizar também outros 20 milhões de
dólares para financiar a construção de uma fabrica de processam-
ento de algodão em Magude, na província de Maputo, sul do
pais.
Tanto quanto foi revelado e m Beijing, também o Fundo
Africa-China dispõe de mais de cinco biliões de dólares disponibil-
izados pelo Governo da China para apoiar o desenvolvimento dos
países africanos que integram o Fórum China-Africa.Uma explicaç-
ão dada na capital chinesa, pelo Ministro das Financas, Manuel Ch-
ang, ficou claro que a China está disposta a financiar mais mega-pr-
ojectos moçambicanos nos próximos anos.

Executives of two Chinese banks that conferred in Beijing

Trata-se de uma unidade sanitária situada na lux-
uosa zona da avenida Juluis Nyerere, onde fica uma gra-
nde parte das embaixadas e próxima da Universidade
Eduardo Mondlane (UEM).
A mesma, propriedade da “African Medical Investim-
ents” (AMI), oferece serviços variados para pacientes intern-
os e externos hospitalizados e de emergência, cirurgia de em-
ergência e planeada, salvamento por helicóptero, tratamento
dentário, entre outros.
Discursando na ocasião, Guebuza disse ser expectativa
do Governo ver esta unidade sanitária a aumentar a capacidade já
existente, especialmente para as situações decorrentes do trauma
e da necessária atenção à saúde da mulher e d a criança, em partic-
ular. O país regista com muita preocupação um crescimento da m-
ortalidade em.
O hospital recém inaugurado tem 30 camas, duas sal-
as de operações, services de emergência com uma frota de am-
bulâncias e um barco de salvamento para os casos registados
ao longo da costa de Maputo. Num futuro próximo, esta entid-
ade pretende expandir seus serviços para Tete e Nampula, Ce-
ntro e Norte do país.
Discursando na ocasião, Guebuza disse ser expectativa

re of expertise to women's health, will join our efforts in this ar-
ea ", said Guebuza.

FOR 35 YEARS OF INDEPENDENCE MOZAMBICAN
O evento culminou com a comemoração
do aniversário do grupo coral Génesis Voice
Formada por 16 grupos corais, a associação na rota do
gospel, levou a cabo um concerto de exaltação glorificante, em
protesto da comemoração da independência Moçambicana,
como forma de dar o seu contributo neste importante marco, re-
levante na unidade nacional, na promoção da cultura gospel,
que é praticada por várias entidades religiosas.
O evento culminou com a comemoração do aniversár-
io do grupo coral Génesis Voice, Génesis Voice é um grupo
coral da Igreja Anglicana de S.Benedito de Malhangalene, cria-
do no ano 2005, através de quatro jovens que se uniram para
cantar ou animar durante os concertos através do cântico, e é
composto por jovens do sexo Masculino, estudantes e estudan-
tes-trabalhadores, Anglicanos e também de outras r eligiões
tais que: Velha Apóstolo; Doze Apóstolo; Assembleia de Deus
e mais. Este grupo jovem teve a sua comemoração de aniversá-
rio no dia 19.06.10 na igreja que lhes viu nascer, e a Associaçã-
o na rota do gospel associou esta comemoração a mais uma
outra comemoração no dia 20 de Junho de 2010, alusiva a ind-
ependência nacional, a mesma comemoração teve lugar na Igr-
eja completa de Deus.

MOZAMBIQUE TOURISM AND CULTURE EXPO
Moçambique está a promover as suas potencialidades turístic-
as e culturais aos milhares de turistas que irão visitar a África
do Sul durante a realização da Copa do Mundo a decorrer.
Tal promoção esta a ocorrer no “Festival of Africa” que
se realiza de 11 de Junho a 3 Julho do ano corrente em Melrose Ar-
ch, região norte da cidade de Johanesburg, que atrai aproximadam-
ente 150 mil pessoas por mês, com uma média de cinco mil pessoa-
s por dia.
O “Festival of Africa” é um evento do qual participam
quase todos os países africanos e cada Estado participante tem
um espaço de exposição para apresentar produtos de artes e esc-
ultura e não só.
O MITUR espera que Moçambique consiga tirar vanta-
gens do evento através da internacionalização do seu potencial
turístico.

The event culminated with the celebration of the anniver-
sary of the choral group Genesis, Genesis Voice Voice is a choral
group of the Anglican Church of St. B enedict of Malhangalene,
created in 2005 by four young men who came together to sing or
cheer during the concert by chant, and is composed of young mal-
e students and student-workers, Anglicans, and also other religio-
ns such as: Old Apostle; Twelve Apostle, Assembly of God and m-
ore. This young group had its anniversary celebration on 19:06:10
at church they were born, and the Association of Gospel on the ro-
ute that linked the celebration yet another celebration on June
20, 2010, alluding to national independence, the same celebratio-
n took place in the church full of God
Mozambique is promoting its tourist and cultural pote-
ntial of the thousands of tourists who will visit South Africa duri-
ng implementation of the World Cup to be held from Friday.
This promotion is taking place at the "Festival of Africa"
to be held from June 11 to July 3 this year in Melrose Arch, north
of the city of Johannesburg, which attracts about 150,000 peopl-
e per month with an average of five thousand people per day.
The "Festival of Africa" is an event which involved almo-
st all African countries and each participating State has an exh-
ibition space to display products of arts and sculpture and beyo-
nd. The festival will have five s ubjects, including: tourism, arts
and culture, trade and investment, and international relations.
However, Mozambique will focus on the areas of tourism and cu-
lture.
MITUR hopes that Mozambique can take advantage of
the event through internationalization of its tourism potential.
