Mudança

a Cada Passo
No último domingo deste mês de janeiro, o projeto “A Change is
Gonna Come” voltou a reunir cerca de uma centena de jovens
interessados em trazer mudança à sociedade europeia. Num webinar
que contou com Portugal, Países Baixos, Grécia, Espanha, Itália,
Suécia, Sérvia e Roménia os membros discutiram os resultados e
progressos dos trabalhos colaborativos realizados.

Após um mês com as mãos na massa, os alunos envolvidos neste projeto

ETwinning voltaram a estabelecer contacto entre as 20 equipas internacionais.
Desta vez, a discriminação foi o tópico que obteve maior destaque.
No que toca à origem deste problema transversal a todas as nações, foi
unânime que esta ocorre devido ao desconhecimento das verdadeiras
características de um grupo dito como “diferente”. Partindo destas diferenças,
foram discutidos tópicos como a discriminação sob grupos religiosos, grupos
étnicos, quanto ao género, à nacionalidade e à orientação sexual, explicitando
sempre bons e maus exemplos na comunidade mundial quanto aos mesmos.
A educação e a informação objetiva e real foram apontadas como as
armas de combate a este inimigo na vida de todos os que habitam esta aldeia
global.
 Com base na qualidade e na criatividade da partilha que decorreu nesta
noite de domingo, podemos certamente afirmar que estes jovens se encontram
devidamente armados para enfrentar e desmistificar qualquer discriminação que
possam enfrentar no futuro. Tudo isto graças à colaboração e ao espírito de
equipa que marcam sempre presença nestas reuniões europeias que demonstram
que realmente “the team work makes the dream work”.

Changing Step
by Step
On the last Sunday of January, the project “A Change is Gonna Come” brought
together around a hundred young people interested in bringing change to
European society. In a webinar that featured Portugal, the Netherlands, Greece,
Spain, Italy, Sweden, Serbia and Romania, members discussed the results and
progress of the collaborative work carried out.
After a hands-on month, the students involved in this ETwinning project are
back in contact with the 20 international teams. This time, discrimination was
the topic that got the most prominence.
With regard to the origin of this problem across all nations, it was unanimous
that it occurs due to the lack of knowledge of the true characteristics of a group
said to be "different". Starting from these differences, topics were discussed
such as discrimination under religious groups, ethnic groups, regarding gender,
nationality and sexual orientation, always explaining good and bad examples in
the world community regarding them.
Education and objective and real information were identified as the weapons to
fight this enemy in the lives of all who inhabit this global village.
Based on the quality and creativity of the sharing that took place this Sunday
evening, we can certainly say that these young people are properly armed to
face and demystify any discrimination they may face in the future. All this
thanks to the collaboration and team spirit that are always present in these
European meetings that demonstrate that “the team work makes the dream
work”.
