Abstract. The objective of the present work is to analyze, in the scope of quan-
tum mechanics, the dynamics of an electrically charged particle, in a non-
relativistic regime, interacting with an external magnetic field. To do so, we
initially obtain the expressions that describe the minimum coupling between that
particle and a magnetic field. Then, we highlight the behavior of the Schrödin-
ger equation under gauge transformation. Finally, we reach the quantum opera-
tors associated with classical quantities such as the center of the circular orbit,
energy, angular momentum and magnetic moment.

1 ~ q~ 2
Ĥ = −i~∇ − A(~r, t) + qφ(~r, t) (11)
2m c
~2 ~ ~ i~q

do potencial vetor e do potencial escalar.

podemos escrever
