ENGLISH ACTIVITY - 7° ANO

Hello, students!
Na aula de hoje continuaremos estudando o Simple Past (passado simples) em inglês. Na última lição, vimos os
verbos regulares e aprendemos que basta colocar a terminação ED nesses verbos para que eles fiquem no
tempo verbal do passado.
Hoje veremos um uso muito comum do Simple Past: narrar fatos e eventos históricos.
No exercício abaixo você encontrará dois fatos que marcaram a História recente. Leia os textos e complete os
espaços em branco com os verbos no Simple Past. Observação: lembre-se das regras para o acréscimo de ED
nos verbos regulares em inglês:

- regra geral: colocar ED no fim do verbo

- verbos que já terminam em E, acrescentar apenas D
- verbos terminados em Y precedido de consoante → tirar o Y e acrescentar IED
