What are interrogative pronouns?

Interrogative pronouns are words used to interrogate, that is, to ask questions,
either directly or indirectly. They are: Que (what), Quem (who), Qual (which) and
Quanto (how much)

Examples:

O Que é isso?
Quem és tu?
Qual desejas?
Quanto tempo falta para chegarmos?

Interrogative pronouns always refer to the 3rd grammatical person and have an
indeterminate and imprecise meaning, only clarified by the answer given to the
question.

The interrogative pronouns Que and Quem are invariable, that is, they are
never inflected
