Partida do Hotel em direco parte Oeste da Ilha - Ponta dos Rosais, visitando um Parque Florestal e Fbrica de Queijo. Depois atravessamos a Ilha para a zona Norte para admirar o panorama sobre as conhecidas Fajs - terra plana ao nivel do mar, resultante da eruso das rochas, onde vivem comunidades aproveitando o micro-clima. Faj do Ouvidor e Faj dos Cubres so os principais pontos de interesse. Do Norte Pequeno, continuamos para o lado Sul em direco Calheta. Paragem para almoo. Depois do almoo, paragem nas Manadas para visitar a bonita Igreja de Sta. Brbara, de Estilo Barroco do Sc. XVIII. Da passamos Urzelina, onde a sua Igreja se encontra suterrada pela lava, devido erupo vulcnica de 1808. Dela s resta a torre rodeada de rvores de fruto e vegetao variada. Regresso s Velas e passeio a p para visita dos principais pontos da Vila. Regresso ao Hotel.

Tour of the Island So Jorge - full day

Departure from the Hotel towards the Western part of the Island - Ponta dos Rosais, visiting a Forestry Park and Cheese Factory. Then cross the Island to the Northside to enjoy the view over the so-called Fajs - flat laud at sea level, resulting from the erosion of cliffs, where people live profiting a microclimate. Faj do Ouvidor and Faj dos Cubres are the main interesting points. From Norte Pequeno, drive to the South side towards Calheta. Stop for lunch. After lunch, stop at Manadas to see the beautiful Church of Sta. Brbara an XVIII Century Barroco style Church. Then to Urzelina and visit the remaining tower of a church buried under lava from the eruption of 1808, and surrounded by fruit trees and other vegetation. Dpart de lHtel, vers la rgion lOuest de lle - Ponta dos Rosais, en visitant un Parc Forestier et une usine de fromage. Aprs, on traverse lle pour la rgion Nord, o nous jouissons le panorama sur les bien connus Fajs - terre plaine, au niveau de la mer, consquence de lerosion des rochers, habits par des communauts, en profitant du micro-clima. Faj do Ouvidor e Faj dos Cubres, sont les stes plus intrssants. De Norte-Pequeno, on continue pour le ct Sud, vers Calheta. Arrt pour le djeuner. Aprs le djeuner, arrt Manadas, pour visiter sa belle glise de Sta Brbara, du style Baroc du XVIII sicle. De cet endroit on va Urzelina, o son glise est souterre sons la lave de leruption volcanique de 1808. Il nen a que la tour entoure darbres fruitiers et vgtation varie. Retour Velas et promenade pour visiter les endroits principaux de la ville. Retour lHtel.

Abfahrt vom Hotel nach dem Westenteil der Insel - Ponta dos Rosais. Wir besichtigen eine Baumschule und eine Kserei.
