Other tips to help your learning

- Watch brazilian films and series, it gets you familiar with how the language sounds and there will
always be some new words/phrases (Aquarius, the man from the future, basic sanitation, city of
god, back and forth, nise: the heart of madness, operações especiais, father’s chair, bald
mountain, love.com, 3% and the mechanism are all on netflix and there are more on youtube
with subtitles)
- Follow brazilian accounts on twitter. Whether they are ones dedicated to teaching the language
or just random brazilian people/journalists and news/celebrities/whatever, it will just expose you
to more of the language and you can translate with a button on the app so it’s easy, try to work
out what they’re saying then translate and see if you were right
- The usual stuff like duolingo, memrise etc are good but can get a little boring that’s why i’ve
suggested other things
- Cruise over to youtube, there are HUNDREDS of videos, dozens of useful channels for learning
the language
