A avaliação das aprendizagens dos alunos integra, como já sabes, a realização


de Provas de Aferição, elaboradas externamente às escolas e que têm como
referencial base as Aprendizagens Essenciais e o Perfil dos Alunos à
Saída da Escolaridade Obrigatória.

Entre outros propósitos, as Provas de Aferição visam “fornecer informações


detalhadas acerca do desempenho dos alunos à escola, aos professores, aos
encarregados de educação e aos próprios alunos”1, com vista a desencadear
uma “intervenção pedagógica atempada”, se necessário.

Assim, este auxiliar pretende ajudar-te a preparar a Prova de Aferição de


Inglês, que se realiza no 5º ano de escolaridade, no final do ano letivo. Aqui, são
apresentadas 7 provas, com exercícios diversificados, abarcando diferentes
domínios de aprendizagem da disciplina de Inglês no âmbito das Competências
Comunicativa, Intercultural e Estratégica. Na estrutura destas provas constam
os domínios da Compreensão oral, Compreensão escrita e Produção
escrita, nos quais se inclui, igualmente, o léxico e a gramática.

Deste modo, poderás testar os conhecimentos dos conteú-


dos curriculares e a mobilização do saber (aprendizagens
anteriores), ativando processos cognitivos importantes.
Este auxiliar possibilita, então, o estudo autónomo e a
consciencialização das dificuldades, com vista à sua su-
peração e ao aperfeiçoamento das competências. No
final, encontrarás propostas de resolução dos exercícios
para que possas confirmar o resultado do teu trabalho.
