RESUMO

A pesquisa em questão é uma reflexão em torno da prática do infanticídio que é um  acto

voluntário de matar uma criança. Normalmente, o infanticídio é cometido contra um
recém-nascido, isto é, infante nos sete primeiros dias de seu nascimento, quer
empregando meios diretos e ativos, quer recusando à vítima os cuidados necessários à
manutenção da vida e a impedir a sua morte. Porém, sendo uma realidade vivencial que
certamente tem evidenciado para que as sociedades atravessassem um estado de
anacronismo, suscitou em nós um espírito crítico-analítico, identificando, desse modo,
os seus impactos na vida das pessoas e da sociedade em geral. Tendo em vista o
problema elaborou-se o seguinte objectivo geral: compreender o infanticídio contra o
direito e bem-estar da criança. Desta feita, propus os seguintes objectivos específicos:
analisar o impacto do infanticídio na sociedade; identificar as razões que levam a
realizar o infanticídio. Para a sua realização utilizou-se os métodos hipotético-dedutivo
e bibliográfico. No entanto, o nosso trabalho está dividido em dois capítulos. No
primeiro far-se-á uma clarificação terminológico. No segundo apresentaremos a
problemática em questão de forma criteriosa, bem como os seus impactos na sociedade.
isto é, uma dialética antitética entre o infanticídio e a proteção à vida.

Abstrat

The research in question is a reflection around the practice of infanticide which is a

voluntary act of killing a child. Infanticide is usually committed against a newborn, that
is, infant in the first seven days of its birth, either by employing direct and active means,
or by refusing the victim the care necessary to maintain life and to prevent his death.
However, being an experiential reality that has certainly shown for societies to go
through a state of anachronism, it has aroused in us a critical-analytical spirit, thus
identifying its impacts on the lives of people and society in general. In view of the
problem, the following general objective was elaborated: to understand infanticide
against the right to life. This time, we propose the following specific objectives: to
analyze the impact of infanticide on society; identify the reasons that lead to infanticide.
For its realization, the hypothetical-deductive and bibliographic methods were used.
However, our work is divided into three chapters. In the first one a terminological
clarification will be made. In the second we will present the problem in question
judiciously, as well as its impacts on society. That is, an antithetical dialectic against the
protection of life. In the third we will present the critical appreciation and contribution
of the research.
