Dois jogos bastante disputados movimentaram a semifinal do Future Durante o Future Champions, além de jogadas
Champions, torneio de futebol sub-17 sediado em Belo Horizonte. Na espectaculares e partidas bastante disputadas, um

It’s final time
Two great matches marked the semifinal of  the Future Champions,
Under-17 Football Tournament, held in Belo Horizonte. The first game
was between Everton and Atlético-MG. The Brazilian team had the ad-
vantage of  an enthusiastic band of  local supporters and it held the ad-
vantage right through the game, but the well-known English team did
not make it easy for them.  Atlético's players had to run hard and show
greatskills to penetrate the defense of  Everton. In an inspired display
of  defensive skills the English goalkeeper Taudul saved several danger
balls that could have made the final result almost embarrassing.  In the
second half,  Carlos in the Number 17 shirt scored for Atlético. The
game ended 1x0 for Brazilian team. In the next match, between Cruzeiro
and Vasco, both teams were well matched in the respective skill levels,
indicating that the match would be balanced and exciting. However, it
didn't happened. With more ball possession and playing more effectively,
Cruzeiro scored its first goal after just nine minutes into the game. At
the end of  the first half, Leo scored another. During the second half,
the team from Belo Horizonte played calmly, and the match ended 2-0.
For the final, Atlético-MG will play against Cruzeiro, in a famous classic
game for Brazilian football. Both teams will have very strong support
from the crowd, which has been present on all days of  competition.
Vasco and Everton will play for third place.

Powerful audience
During the Future Champions Tournament, be-
sides spectacular matches, there was one group
who really provided the excitement and that was
the public.
Most of  the spectators were there to support
their favorite teams, while others were  scouting
for  new  talent,  the  players  who  are  going  to
shine professionally in future.
In  the  match  between  Everton  and  Atlético-
MG, during the semifinal, we found a prominent
supporter of  the English team. His name? Ever-
ton! Coincidences aside, Mr. Everton explained
that his passion for the English club comes from
The Beatles, who also supported the team.
Usually present at the games were the players'
families who were a good support for athletes.
Ana Lucia, Ramirez' mother, says that when she can't be at the game
she always calls her son. "Without parents around nothing works well,"
she jokes. Rita, Marquinho's mother, travelled five hours to be with her
son. "I'm always with him,   at every game, to give him my strength”, she
says, enthusiastically.
