ABSTRACT
Transient diffusion problems solution were presented in this work considering
cylindrical fuel cells with rectangular cross-section with uniformly distributed
sources and variable thermophysical properties in its domain submitted to
Dirichlet boundary conditions. In order to facilitate the analytical treatment, the
diffusion equation has been linearized by Kirchhoff Transform application in a
temperature potential. To obtain the distribution of the temperature in the fuel cell
the Generalized Integral Transform Technique (GITT) was used onto the diffusion
equation in the domain of the cell. Interesting physical parameters have been
evaluated for several cylinder aspect ratios. The results obtained have been
compared with finite volume solution obtained by commercial software ANSYSTM.

tende a 1.
condutividade trmica [22] e o calor especfico [23], que variam devido s grandes variaes
