OK Newsletter #4 – The 10 Commandments
Dear students,
by following these tips to the letter you’ll be
able to achieve your dream of speaking English
fluently.
The reason I call them ‘commandments’ is
because you must follow them religiously. In
other words, you can’t disobey them when
you’re trying to become fluent in a language.
Here we go:
1. Do not be lazy or unmotivated;
2. Study the language every single day;
3. Develop a network of other students,
teachers, native speakers to develop
your English skills;
4. Always ask questions you have doubts
and never feel shy for you do not
know something and have to ask for
help;
5. Acquire good research material for
study and support, and keep yourself
up to date;
6. Evaluate your progress and
development periodically;
7. Share your knowledge with others
freely;
8. Set clear goals for learning English and
work on developing them daily;
9. Take advantage of every moment and
resource to the max;
10. Seek professional help and advice
from language teachers, natives
speakers and mavens.
OK, go now and put it all into practice.
Remember your goal here is achieve fluency.
Once you reach that level we will share with
you the keys to maintain the language fluency
high.

seguindo essas dicas rigorosamente vocês
poderão alcançar seu sonho de falar inglês

porque você deve cumpri-las religiosamente,
ou seja, não pode desobedecê-las enquanto

língua.

falantes nativos para desenvolver seu
inglês;
4. Sempre que tiver dúvida pergunte e
nunca sinta-se envergonhado por não
saber algo e ter que pedir ajuda;
5. Adquira bons materiais de pesquisa
para estudo e apoio, e mantenha-se
atualizado;
6. Avalie seu progresso e
desenvolvimento periodicamente;
7. Compartilhe seu conhecimento com
outros gratuitamente;
8. Estabeleça metas claras para aprender
inglês e trabalhe nelas diariamente;
9. Tire o máximo proveito de cada
momento e recurso;
10. Busque a ajuda profissional de
professores de idiomas, falantes
nativos e especialistas.
