Riqueza de espécies e eficiência de métodos
de amostragem de aves em ambientes
antropisados inseridos em área de Mata
Atlântica de Tabuleiro
O estudo foi realizado na Reserva Natural Vale (RNV), no município de Linhares, Espírito
Santo, Brasil.
Os biólogos conseguiram amostrar suficientemente a comunidade de aves com os
métodos utilizados? Por quê? Justifique.

A curva de acumulação de espécies de cada ambiente de pesquisa e de toda a área de


pesquisa não se estabilizou, o que indica ser necessário um trabalho de amostragem
mais intenso para capturar todas as espécies que possam existir em cada área. Ao
comparar os métodos de amostragem, o censo é mais eficaz do que a rede de névoa.
● Quais indicadores ecológicos foram utilizados para medir a diversidade nas
comunidades?

Foram utilizadas seis redes de neblina (12,0 x 2,50) m de comprimento e 36 mm


de abertura da malha), armadas no sub-bosquedos ambientes amostrados. As
redes eram abertas ao amanhecer e fechadas ao entardecer, sendo visitadas em
intervalos de 30 minutos visando minimizar o estresse de captura dos
indivíduos. O censo visual foi realizado paralelamente à amostragem com redes
de neblina em cada área estudada. A identificação dos indivíduos foi realizada
com o auxílio de binóculos, a partir da detecção direta dos espécimes durante
caminhadas realizadas no interior das áreas amostradas.

diversidade nas comunidades?

E ambos os métodos de amostragem, redes e censo visual, devem ser


aplicados considerando suas particularidades de eficiência em cada
categoria de ambiente. Em áreas abertas, por exemplo, o censo deve ser
intensificado, enquanto em ambientes de floresta fechada, deve ser
realizado um maior esforço com redes de neblina.

● Qual método foi mais eficaz para capturar a diversidade de aves?

O censo visual por ponto ou área, e a instalação de redes de neblina para


a captura e marcação de indivíduos. Entretanto, nem todos os
representantes da avifauna são detectados por avistamento, tão pouco
capturados pelas redes de neblina
● Qual foi a conclusão da pesquisa?

Portanto, deve-se observar que, para planejar adequadamente a lista de espécies e conduzir pesquisas
ecológicas de aves, é importante entender as limitações de quaisquer métodos de pesquisa
usados com antecedência. Apesar das dificuldades práticas, redes de neblina e pesquisas visuais
devem ser idealmente usadas como métodos complementares (Devley e Martensen 2006). Acredita-se
que a amostragem de todas as aves seja necessária para melhor compreender as comunidades de aves
e obter estimativas confiáveis da abundância total de aves encontradas no RNV. Quanto à
fitomorfologia da área de estudo, principalmente em ambientes não humanos, ambos os métodos
devem ser utilizados em cada categoria ambiental amostrada devido à sua especificidade e eficácia.
Por exemplo, o censo deve ser fortalecido em áreas abertas e o uso de redes de neblina deve ser
aumentado em florestas fechadas.
