Descrio: Eu tentei fazer um bardo com estilo mais "Swashbuckler": um combatente gil e habilidoso, saltando por cima de mesas

em duelos de espada ou brincando com seus oponentes enquanto dana (de certa forma, literalmente) ao seu redor. Ele utiliza seu Carisma para quase tudo e possui aquela mistura de sorte e habilidade que o tornam quase impossvel de acertar - ou de afetar com magias. Embora ele tenha nveis de Hexblade, eu considero ele menos um "sombrio amaldioador" e mais um trapaceiro que manipula a sorte a seu favor. No entanto, o personagem tambm tem seu lado artstico mais profundo, que se manifesta nem tanto atravs da msica quanto da dana; ele ir cantar a msica que estiver danando, mas a harmonia dos movimentos que o fascina e no a sonoridade da voz. Ele tenta entender os movimentos da natureza como uma grande dana - as estrelas, as plantas, todo o mundo parece estar danando ao som de uma melodia primordial. Essa ligao com a natureza primitiva o que lhe d esse nvel de Brbaro (embora ele raramente use a Fria j que isso o impede de cantar e danar). Estratgia: Na primeira rodada, comea a usar Dragonfire Inspiration, d subvocalize em Inspire Courage e usa a Move Action para ativar o Badge of Valor (ou Displacement se for muito necessrio). Na segunda, usa a Hexblade Curse e o Snowflake Wardance e d pounce (com a swift action, d para ativar o displacement ou haste da armadura, usar Hexbands, ativar Badge of Valor se no tiver ainda ou deixar para usar o Sudden Stunning). Depois ficar batendo como full round ou usando pouce, e se necessrio usar msicas de seeker para proteger de dano de energia ou causando dano em rea. Contra conjuradores, hymn of spelldeath na hora. Os valores ficaram todos medianos ou baixos, mas para um bardo eu no esperava que fosse um combatente top tambm... Ele tem mettle e evasion e como ele dana e no canta, Silence no faz diferena. A iniciativa um lixo, mas como ele no consegue fazer nada antes de ativar os trens na primeira rodada, o resto do grupo vai ter que aguentar a rodada mesmo. Por outro lado, as msicas pegam no grupo todo, inclusive o Heartfire Inspiration. Skill Tricks: Nimble Charge, Twisted Charge, Extreme Leap, Shrouded Dance, Acrobatic Backstab, Back on Your Feet (all from Complete Scoundrel) Bard Spells: mostly irrelevant, but Whirling Blade (Lv 2, SC 238) matches the build well (it creates a sword that attacks all enemies in a line, using your BBA and Cha bonus instead of Str).

Alternativas: Uma alternativa possvel seria trocar os nveis de Arcane Duelist por nveis de monge e trocar Mobility por Ascetic Mage; somaria Carisma na CA (o feat permite trocar o bnus de Wis para o de Cha), ganharia Evasion, melhoraria o save de Fortitude e liberaria para trocar Dodge por algo realmente til (alm de ganhar as vrias habilidades inteis de monge); perderia s algumas percias e deixaria de usar armaduras leves. A principal razo que eu no fiz isso o conceito - faz bastante sentido o personagem evoluir para um duelista arcano, mas treinamento rgido de artes marciais em um mosteiro destoa um bocado. Pela mesma razo no peguei Words of Creation: o personagem qualifica facilmente, mas ser exaltado no combina bem e o personagem teria que mudar de alinhamento durante a "histria" j que Hexblade tem que ser non-good (o monge tambm teria que mudar j que ele tem que ser lawful e bardo non-lawful). O Tooth of Leraje outro que optei por no pegar j que a meu entender um item bem especfico e raro (como mestre eu nunca deixaria o jogador simplesmente comprar ou fazer o item, muito menos mltiplos dele), mas certamente otimizaria o personagem. Depois talvez eu poste essa verso do personagem: troca dodge para Words of Creation (dobra Inspire Courage e o dano do Dragonfire Inspiration, +3 Fort, troca o +3 das armas e o chosen weapon da main hand para dois tooth of Leraje em armas +1, muda as percias de classe, tira o item de evasion, perde a armadura (propriedades e bnus tem que ir para outros itens). Tambm leva penalidade de XP, porque devido ao alinhamento Monge tem que vir depois de tudo.
