Ficar estados Emocionais (ficar triste, feliz, magoado, arrasado...) TO GET

Ficar no sentido de combinar algo (Fiquei de ir no cinema na quarta) TO ARRANGE

LIKE/AS

Like sempre usado antes de Substantivo. (She speak like a native speaker)

As usado antes de Locucao (Sujeito + verbo). (She behaved as we thought he would)

As tambm pode ser usado antes de Substantivo quando este substantivo ter relao com
alguma funo exercida (emprego). (I work as a Lawyer)

** Porm no ingles Americano normal a troca do As pelo Like, de forma gramaticalmente

errada mais coloquialmente aceitvel.

SOME/ANY/NO

Significados:

SOME/ANY - Algum, Alguns, Um pouco de

NO Nenhum/Sem

Some, em geral usado em frases afirmativas (I would like some tea)

Pode tambm ser usado em frases Interrogativas quando se quer pedir ou oeferer algo a
algum (Would you like some coffe?)

Any, usado em frases Interrogativas, no lugar do SOME. ( Is there any tea here?)
Tambm usado em frases Negativas. (There isnt any tea)
Nas frases afirmativas significa QUALQUER.

No usado em frases negativas no lugar do Any.

MANY/MUCH/SO/A LOT/VERY/TOO

Very sempre usado antes de adjetivo (She is very tall)

So basicamente igual, talvez com um pouquinho de surpresa na reao. (Omg, she is so
Tall). SO um pouco mais exagerado tambm.

A Lot usado antes de substantivos (There are a lot of people in the room)

Many usado antes de substantivos contveis (There is many peoples in the room)

Much usado antes de substantivos Incontveis (There is much water in the cup)

Too (antes do adjetivo) usado quando se quer dar a sensao de que de Tanto (muito) chega
a ser demais. (It is too hot here). Sempre antes de adjetivo.

No existe uma regra. Existe as formas mais comuns que so usados.
