Vocabulário
Will ao tomar decisões instantâneas
exemplo:
I’ll get it. (when the phone starts ringing)
I’ll get those for you. (when someone drops their books on the ground)
Note que will normalmente é contraído.
Instead of
A: How much do you think the taxi will cost?
B: To get to the airport from here? Probably about $40.
A: $40? That’s too much!
B: Well, you could take the bus instead of a taxi. It only costs $2.
A: $40? That’s too much!
B: Well, you could take the bus instead. It only costs $2.

To be going to
REMEMBER!
Ao falar de um plano futuro firme, a frase verbal to be going to pode ser usada.
Por exemplo:
I’m going to see a movie with my boyfriend.
I’m going to go to the beach.
I’m going to study.
Note a estrutura: sujeito + going to + ´base form do verbo
Are you going to drive?
Is she going to take a taxi?
Are we going to visit her?
Are they going to dance tonight?
E note as formas possíveis de respostas curtas.
Yes, I am.
No, she isn’t.
No, we aren’t.
Yes, they are.
