Imagine-se na seguinte situação:

Você está iniciando a leitura de um texto sobre energia solar. O

texto lhe causa alguma dificuldade; a leitura não flui muito
bem, pois você se depara com muitas palavras desconhecidas.
Você se pergunta se há uma maneira de diminuir a sensação de
dificuldade que a leitura parece lhe trazer.

light and heat that travel through space. These forms of energy come from atoms
smashing into each other in the centre of the Sun and joining together, or fusing.

A estratégia

Há boa razões para o texto causar uma dificuldade inicial: o assunto é

isto é, que se parecem com palavras da língua portuguesa.
