Zero conditional

Estrutura gramatical usada para falar sobre situações que são reais e possíveis: leis científicas,
verdades gerais e para dar instruções.

● As sentenças que são usadas neste tipo de condicional estão sempre no tempo presente
simples e possui duas cláusulas que podemos chamar de “condição” e “resultado”

Estrutura da Zero Conditional - If + Sujeito + simple present, sujeito + simple present

If you put an ice cube in the sun, it melts.

If you don’t eat lunch, you feel weak.
If the phone rings, don’t answer
 ● First conditional
Utilizada para situações no que sejam possíveis ou prováveis de acontecer no futuro (situações
reais). Essas orações possuem a seguinte estrutura gramatical:

If + Verbo (simple present) + Oração principal com Will/Can/May/Might + Verbo (simple future)
Exemplos:
● If it is sunny on sunday, we will go to the beach.
● If i still have classes left, i won’t come home early.
● If he gets sick tomorrow, he can’t go to the party.
● If they have a problem at work, we can help them.
● If she tries that again next time, she might not succeed.
● If we don’t hurry, we might be late for the game.
● If you don’t know how to swim, you may drown.

 SECOND CONDITIONAL

● Utilizada para falar sobre uma hipótese que na maioria das vezes será
IRREAL;
● A estrutura gramatical do Second Conditional:

IF + VERBO (SIMPLE PAST) + WOULD/COULD

EXEMPLOS:

If I had the money, I would buy that car.

If I were you, I wouldn't do that.
If I were a boy, I think I could understand.
