2. Simple Past
● O passado simples no inglês geralmente se refere a ações finalizadas, que
aconteceram em um momento específico do passado.

� Afirmativa: Sujeito + Verbo no Passado + Complemento
Ex1: They wanted to go home
Ex2: He left the party early

� Negativa: Sujeito + DIDN’T + Verbo Presente + Complemento

Ex2: He DIDN’T leave the party early

� Interrogativa: DID + Sujeito + Verbo Presente + Complemento


Ex1: DID they want to go home?
Ex2: DID he leave the party early?

� Negativa Interrogativa: DIDN’T + Sujeito + Verbo Presente + Complemento

Verbo TO BE no passado:
● O verbo TO BE significa SER e ESTAR;
● Ele pode significar só SER, só ESTAR ou os dois juntos;
● O verbo TO BE está no INFINITIVO;
● Ele tem DUAS CONJUGAÇÕES no passado: WAS, WERE

3. Simple Future
● O Simple Future fala de ações no futuro, podem ser feitos com WILL ou
GOING TO;
● WILL é utilizado para falar de ações voluntárias, promessas, previsões
futuras e planos incertos;
● GOING TO é utilizado para falar de previsões futuras e planos certos;

I / YOU/ WE / THEY / HE / SHE/ IT:


� Afirmativa:
Sujeito + WILL + Verbo no Passado + Complemento
Sujeito + AM/IS/ARE + GOING TO + Verbo no Presente + Complemento
Ex1: I will study more
Ex2: I am going to get a new haircut tomorrow

� Negativa:
Sujeito + WILL + NOT + Verbo no Presente + Complemento
Sujeito + AM + NOT/IS + NOT/ARE NOT + GOING TO + Verbo Presente + Complemento

Ex1: I will NOT study more / I won’t study more


Ex2: I am NOT going to get a new haircut tomorrow

� Interrogativa:
WILL + Sujeito + Verbo Presente + Complemento
AM/IS/ARE + Sujeito + GOING TO + Verbo no Presente + Complemento
Ex1: Will you study more?
Ex2: Are you going to get a new haircut tomorrow?

� Negativa Interrogativa:
WILL + NOT + Sujeito + Verbo Presente + Complemento
AM + NOT/IS + NOT/ARE NOT + Sujeito + GOING TO + Verbo no Presente +Complemento
Ex1: Will you NOT study more? / Won’t you study more?
Ex2: Are you NOT going to get a new haircut tomorrow?
Verbo TO BE no futuro:
● O verbo TO BE significa SER e ESTAR;
● Ele pode significar só SER, só ESTAR ou os dois juntos;
● O verbo TO BE está no INFINITIVO;
● O verbo TO BE também pode ser usado com o GOING TO, do mesmo
modo que foi apresentado acima

� Afirmativa:

4. Present Continuous
● O presente perfeito no inglês descreve ações que são concomitantes com o
agora. 

I / YOU/ WE / THEY / HE / SHE/ IT:


� Afirmativa: Sujeito + Verbo TO BE + Verbo ING + Complemento
Ex: We are watching a movie tonight

� Negativa: Sujeito + Verbo TO BE + NOT + Verbo ING + Complemento


Ex: We are NOT watching a movie tonight
We aren’t watching a movie tonight

� Interrogativa: Verbo TO BE + Sujeito + Verbo ING + Complemento


Ex: Are we watching a movie tonight?

� Negativa Interrogativa: Verbo TO BE + NOT + Sujeito + Verbo ING + Complemento

5. Past Continuous
● O passado contínuo no inglês enfatiza o período de duração de uma ação
no passado.

� Afirmativa: Sujeito + Verbo TO BE no Passado + Verbo ING + Complemento
Ex: I was talking to her

� Negativa: Sujeito + Verbo TO BE no Passado + NOT + Verbo ING + Complemento

� Interrogativa: Verbo TO BE no Passado + Sujeito + Verbo ING + Complemento

6. Future Continuous
● O futuro contínuo no inglês descreve ações que terão tido certa duração no
futuro.

� Afirmativa: Sujeito + WILL + Verbo TO BE + Verbo ING + Complemento
Ex: She will be starting German classes

� Negativa: Sujeito + WON’T + Verbo TO BE + Verbo ING + Complemento


Ex: She will NOT be starting German classes
She won’t be starting German classes

� Interrogativa: WILL + Sujeito + Verbo TO BE + Verbo ING + Complemento


Ex: Will she be starting German classes?

7. Present Perfect
● O presente perfeito no inglês descreve experiências passadas que
continuam reverberando no presente.

� Afirmativa: Sujeito + HAVE + Verbo Particípio + Complemento
Ex: You have seen this show twice before

� Negativa: Sujeito + HAVEN’T + Verbo Particípio + Complemento


Ex: You haven’t seen this show twice before
You have NOT seen this show twice before

� Interrogativa: HAVE + Sujeito + Verbo Particípio + Complemento


Ex: Have you seen this show twice before?

� Negativa Interrogativa: HAVEN’T + Sujeito + Verbo Particípio + Complemento

He has NOT done his homework already

8. Past Perfect
● O passado perfeito no inglês se refere às ações que ocorreram antes de
outra ação do passado.

I / YOU/ WE / THEY / HE / SHE / IT:


� Afirmativa: Sujeito + HAD + Verbo Particípio + Complemento
Ex: We had noticed this problem before

� Negativa: Sujeito + HADN’T + Verbo Particípio + Complemento


Ex: We hadn’t noticed this problem before
We had NOT noticed this problem before

� Interrogativa: HAD + Sujeito + Verbo Particípio + Complemento


Ex: Had we noticed this problem before?

� Negativa Interrogativa: HADN’T + Sujeito + Verbo Particípio +


Complemento
Ex: Hadn’t we noticed this problem before?
Had we NOT noticed this problem before?
9. Future Perfect
● O futuro perfeito no inglês descreve experiências que terão sido finalizadas
no futuro, mas seguirão reverberando quando determinado futuro for
presente. Assim como o passado perfeito, o futuro perfeito compara dois
momentos do tempo futuro. 

I / YOU/ WE / THEY / HE / SHE / IT:


� Afirmativa:
Sujeito + WILL + HAVE + Verbo Particípio + Complemento
Sujeito + Verbo TO BE + GOING TO + HAVE + Verbo Particípio + Complemento
Ex1: We will have won the game next weekend.
Ex2: You are going to have finished your homework by then

� Negativa:
Sujeito + WON’T + HAVE + Verbo Particípio + Complemento
Sujeito + Verbo TO BE + NOT + GOING TO + HAVE + Verbo Particípio + Complemento

Ex1: We won’t have won the game next weekend.


Ex2: You aren’t going to have finished your homework by then

� Interrogativa:
WILL + Sujeito + HAVE + Verbo Particípio + Complemento
Verbo TO BE + Sujeito + GOING TO + HAVE + Verbo Particípio + Complemento

10.Present Perfect Continuous

Ex: I have not been reading that book.
I haven’t been reading that book.

� Interrogativa: HAVE BEEN + Sujeito + Verbo ING + Complemento


Ex: Have I  been reading that book?

� Negativa Interrogativa: HAVE BEEN + Sujeito + Verbo ING + Complemento

� Afirmativa: Sujeito + HAS BEEN + Verbo ING + Complemento
Ex: He has been reading that book.

11.Past Perfect Continuous

Ex: They had been running for over an hour.
� Negativa: Sujeito + HAD + NOT + BEEN + Verbo ING + Complemento
Ex: They had not been running for over an hour.
They hadn’t been running for over an hour.

� Interrogativa: HAD + sujeito + BEEN + Verbo ING + Complemento


Ex: Had they been running for over an hour?

� Negativa Interrogativa: HAD + sujeito + NOT + BEEN + Verbo ING + Complemento

Hadn’t they been running for over an hour?
12.Future Perfect Continuous

Ex1: I will have been studying English for five years.
Ex2: She is going to have been working on that for hours!

� Negativa:
Sujeito + WILL NOT HAVE BEEN + Verbo ING + Complemento 
Sujeito + AM/IS/ARE + NOT + GOING TO + HAVE BEEN + Verbo ING + Complemento 
Ex1: I will NOT have been studying English for five years.
