The “Cuda”

In the town of Chota, many years ago, in the sector Campamento, lived
Amelia a woman who lived very happy with her husband Leopoldo and her
daughter Lidia. Her husband every day
went to work in the farm, where his wife
always carries his lunch.

One day, Amelia said to her daughter - go getting water to carry the
lunch to your father, the girl was very happy and took advantage in wash
the face in the stream, suddenly appear the Cuda transformed in her mother
and said - ¡hurry up, ¡! come on!, we are going to
arrive late, la the girl ran behind who she thought was
her mother but when they were near to the hillock she
said ¡mom! ¡mom! Here is not the farm, the cuda
said- for there is more quickly ¡ come on! The girl
continued in the way.

When suddenly the cuda carried to the girl to a

stone cave, she laugh and she
gradually transformed in the
being that was in reality, a big
head of blond hair and with a
hen paw, the girls was scared
and started to cry desperately,
the cuda started to approach and
touch her hands, face and hair,
she put to comfort saying that
wouldn´t damage her, that only
want her company because she felt very alone, like this the girl gradually
was calming and in plan of mother the cuda gave to eat soup with
spaghettis.

On the other hand, worried for her daughter, Amelia started to look for
because was very late and she didn´t know how say to Leopoldo, she put
strong and told him what had
happened until where she knew, her
husband encouraged and they went to
communicate to the authorities, all the
community left to look for but in spite
of the efforts didn´t found her.

Passed the days and the girl didn´t

appear, the people began to talk that in
the stream where she had disappeared
her, also had disappeared a lot of children and murmured that the cuda
always hovered and gradually passed the days she was seizing of her soul.
Then the parents together with another neighbors went to look for the
outskirts when suddenly a group saw the girl, but when she saw them she
ran and hid in the cave that stayed on the other side water channel, they
wanted to go after her but they didn´t cross the current flow force, the
strangeness of event was that the girl crossed within difficulties on the
water, apparently she was enchanted for the cuda and for that she didn´t
remember to her parents no matter how they called screaming her.

Her parents understood what was happened and began to guard the
outskirts of the cave, they noticed that the cuda exited and had a routine it
left from 5:00 am and returned to 6:00 pm o´clock, in this way passed the
days, the parents took advantage to attract to the girl but she said: I don´t
know them until one day they capture her and immediately carried with the
quack to cure and baptized her again, they cured of the spelling of the cuda,
all that wasn´t easy but with the time achieved the miracle.

Since then the cuda followed in this stream calling! cuda¡! cuda¡!
cuda¡ to see if the Lidia returned with her.
