Presente Simples (Simple Present) - REVIEW

O presente simples comumente chamado de "simple present" ou "present simple" é um tempo verbal que
corresponde ao presente do indicativo no português. Na língua inglesa, o simple present é utilizado para indicar
ações habituais no presente. Algumas regras do simple present devem ser seguida de acordo com o tipo de frase.

Forma afirmativa:

Para I, you, they e we basta utilizar o verbo na forma base sem o "to" e para he, she e it basta adicionar s, es ou ies
no final do verbo.

Estrutura da frase: Sujeito + verbo principal + complemento

EXEMPLOS: The students study English every Monday. (Os estudantes estudam inglês todas às segundas.)

Ana studies English every Monday. (Ana estuda inglês todas às segundas.)

Forma negativa:

Para I, you, they e we deve-se utilizar o auxiliar "do" e para he, she e it deve-se utilizar o auxiliar "does".

Estrutura da frase: Sujeito + verbo auxiliar + not + verbo principal + complemento

EXEMPLO: The students do not (don’t) study English every Monday.

Ana does not (doesn’t) study English every Monday.

Forma interrogativa:

Para I, you, they e we deve-se utilizar o auxiliar "do" e para he, she e it deve-se utilizar o auxiliar "does".

Estrutura da frase: Verbo auxiliar + sujeito + verbo principal + complemento

EXEMPLO: Do The students study English every Monday?

Does Ana study English every Monday?
