◦ Geralmente para ser considerada uma metrópole é necessário ter 1 milhão de habitantes.
◦ Campinas, Florianópolis e Vitória são elevadas como as novas metrópole regionais. (desde o
ano 2020)
◦ O Entorno de Florianópolis e o centro da cidade cresce;
▪ Surgimento de manchas de conurbação (encontro de cidades) = maior deslocamento de
passageiro (ônibus) entre a capital e os municípios, culminando em uma maior
complexidade de infraestrutura; de questões ligadas a abastecimento hídrico; meio de
transporte; poluição, uso e parcelamento do solo.

• Blumenau = Hering;
• Tubarão = Carvão;
• Chapecó = Carne suína e Aves;
