1. DAS INSCRIÇÕES
1.1. O Concurso de Redação do Colégio Parthenon Vila Augusta, com edição anual,
tem o propósito de proporcionar aos estudantes experiências ímpares de produção
escrita em diferentes idiomas e gêneros textuais. A cada ano, o Concurso
homenageará um autor ou uma autora. Neste ano, o homenageado será Fernando
Sabino (1923-2004), que foi escritor, jornalista e editor brasileiro e, em 2023,
completaria 100 anos se ainda estivesse vivo. Ao longo de sua jornada, recebeu
diversos prêmios, dentre eles, o Prêmio Jabuti pelo livro "O Grande Mentecapto" e o
Prêmio Machado de Assis, da Academia Brasileira de Letras. Neste concurso,
poderão participar estudantes do 5º Ano do Ensino Fundamental Anos Iniciais à 3ª
série do Ensino Médio.
3.2. As redações poderão ser escritas em até 3 horas - tempo mínimo 1h30.
4.1. Os estudantes vão conhecer o tema somente no dia do Concurso, mas, aqui, já
está definido o eixo temático, isto é, o tema a partir do qual se fará um recorte: o
desafio da humanização das relações em tempos de inteligência artificial.
4.2. Até a data do Concurso, os estudantes poderão contar com o apoio dos
monitores e dos professores para a ampliação de repertório e aprofundamento dos
gêneros correspondentes à categoria em que irão concorrer.
4.4. Cópias de textos de outrem sem a devida citação serão punidas com a
desclassificação do/a candidato/a. Não será permitido o uso de quaisquer recursos
digitais/tecnológicos no momento da produção.
4.7. Os textos entregues em branco ou após o horário estipulado no item 3.2 deste
regulamento serão automaticamente desconsiderados.
5. PREMIAÇÃO
5.1.2 Os colocados serão definidos de acordo com as notas que tirarem, que
poderão variar de zero a dez pontos;
5.1.3 A correção será guiada por grades específicas de cada gênero discursivo;
5.1.4 Cada redação passará por duas correções diferentes. Em caso de empate,
será solicitada a correção por um terceiro corretor;
5.1.5 Não serão aceitos pedidos de revisão;
5.1.6 Os corretores não terão conhecimento da identidade dos alunos.
6.1 A correção será feita em duas ou três etapas, sempre mantendo o anonimato do
aluno: na primeira, todos os textos de uma mesma categoria serão corrigidos por
um único profissional. Em seguida, todos aqueles que tirarem nota acima de 8,0
nesta primeira correção passarão por uma segunda correção. A média das duas
correções indicará os vencedores.

6.2 Em caso de empate em alguma das três primeiras posições, haverá uma
terceira correção por outro profissional. Em se mantendo o empate, a decisão será
de responsabilidade do Diretor Pedagógico do Colégio.

Qualquer dúvida que não esteja esclarecida neste regulamento deverá ser decidida
pelos organizadores do evento, com o aval do Diretor Pedagógico.

1. REGISTRATION
1.1. The Annual Writing Competition of Parthenon Vila Augusta School aims to
provide students with unique experiences in written production in different languages
and textual genres. Each year, the competition will praise an author. This year, the
honoree will be Fernando Sabino (1923-2004), who was a Brazilian writer, journalist,
and editor, and in 2023, would have turned 100 years old if he were still alive.
Throughout his journey, he received several awards, including the Jabuti Prize for
the book "O Grande Mentecapto" and the Machado de Assis Prize from the Brazilian
Academy of Letters. Students from the 5th Grade of Elementary School to the 3rd
Grade of High School are eligible to participate.
1.2 Registration is free and must be completed from March 4th to March 22nd,
2024.
1.3 Registration must be done exclusively through the registration form at the
following link: Inscrição 1º Concurso de Redação. In addition to other information,
candidates must indicate the chosen language: Portuguese or English.
3.1. The writing task will be conducted in person on the following days/times:
Students from Elementary and Middle School: May 6th (Monday), from 2:00 pm to
5:00 pm.
High School Students: May 10th (Friday), from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
3.2. Essays can be written within a time limit of up to 3 hours - minimum time 1 hour
and 30 minutes.
4. GENERAL GUIDELINES
4.1. Students will only be informed of the theme on the day of the competition, but
the thematic axis is already defined here, i.e., the theme from which a cut will be
made: the challenge of humanizing relationships in the age of artificial
intelligence.
4.2. Until the day of the competition, students may seek support from monitors and
teachers to expand their repertoire and deepen their understanding of the
corresponding genres.
4.3. On the day of the competition, no consultation/support will be allowed during the
writing process.
4.4. Copies of texts from others without proper citation will result in the
disqualification of the candidate. The use of any digital/technological resources
during the production process is not allowed.
4.5. Each student will receive a printed writing proposal on the day of the
competition, containing a collection of texts, the thematic focus, and the genre to be
produced.
4.7. Texts submitted blank or after the deadline specified in item 3.2 of this regulation
will be automatically disregarded.

5. AWARDS
*The awards ceremony will be held in the first half of August 2024.
5.1.2 The rankings will be determined based on the scores obtained, which can
range from zero to ten points;
5.1.3 Evaluation will be guided by specific criteria for each discursive genre;
5.1.4 Each essay will undergo two different evaluations. In the event of a tie, a third
evaluator will be consulted;
5.1.5 Requests for review will not be accepted;
5.1.6 Evaluators will not be aware of the students' identities.
6.1 Evaluation will be conducted in two or three stages, always maintaining student
anonymity: initially, all essays in the same category will be evaluated by a single
professional. Then, all those who score above 8.0 in this first evaluation will undergo
a second assessment. The average of the two evaluations will determine the
winners.
6.2 In the event of a tie in any of the top three positions, a third evaluation by another
professional will be conducted. If the tie persists, the decision will be the
responsibility of the Pedagogical Principal.

8. FINAL CONSIDERATIONS
Any doubts not clarified in this regulation will be decided by the event organizers,
with the approval of the Pedagogical Principal.
