AT usa-se para indicar:


Horas (ex: At 5 oclock, at a quarte to nine)
Certas partes do dia (ex: At midday, at night)
Festividades: (ex: At Christmas; at Easter)
Certas expresses de tempo de curta durao (ex: At the weekend; At the end; At the
moment).

IN usa-se para indicar:


Perodos de tempo mais longos (ex: In the morning, in the afternoon)
Meses, estaes do ano, anos, seculos (ex: In January; In 1999; In the twentieth
century)
Stios (ex: We swam in the river)
Roupas (ex: A man in a grey suit)
