A figura 5 apresenta o mapa de pesos para o teor alcolico. Essa varivel foi
tambm importante para a separao das amostras do centro-oeste, pois apesar de
existirem amostras do grupo leste situadas em pesos menores, a maioria do grupo C
est localizado nessas regies, ou seja, nas reas mais escuras. J as amostras da
regio norte e leste encontram-se distribudas de forma heterognea no mapa, em
todas as faixas de pesos.

Do estudo conclui-se que foi possvel distinguir amostras de lcool etlico hidratado
combustvel, comercializadas nas regies norte, centro-oeste e leste do Paran,
atravs da utilizao de redes neurais. O parmetro mais influente na diferenciao
foi o pH e em seguida a massa especfica e o teor alcolico. A utilizao das 4000
pocas de treinamento e topologia 45x45 foram as que apresentaram melhor
separao das amostras.
