(1) The ANP may add in this specification other characteristics, with their respective limits, for non-road diesel oil
obtained from processes other than those used in petroleum refining and petrochemical feedstock plants or in the
terms referred to in § 2 of art. Of this Resolution.
(2) The procedure 1 should be applied.
(3) Yellow to orange staining, type B may be slightly altered to brown.
(4) Applicable only for diesel oil B.

(5) In the percentage established by the legislation in force. Variation of ± 0.5% volume shall be allowed. The
standard EN 14078 is a reference in case of dispute for the determination of the biodiesel content in diesel oil B.
(6) Limits as per Table II.
(7) For diesel oil A, alternatively, the determination of the cetane number calculated by the ASTM method D4737,
where the product does not contain a cetane improver, with a limit of at least 45, is permissible. Where the result
is less than 45 , The cetane number test shall be carried out. When a cetane improver additive is used, this
information must be included in the Quality Certificate.
(8) If the measured electrical conductivity is less than 25 (pS / m), the result should be highlighted in the Quality
Certificate so that the distributor is alerted about the adoption of safety measures.
(9) In case of dispute, ASTM D5453 should be used. The methods NBR 14533 and ASTM D4294 are only applied
to diesel oil A.
(10) In case of dispute, the product can only be considered as not specified in the Appearance, if the parameter
water content is not compliant.
(11) For inspection purposes, in assessments for non-conformity in the Aspect, the analysis of water content must
be performed. The product will be disapproved if this parameter is out of specification.
