para o desenvolvimento de CECP são o uso de tabaco e álcool. Além disso, fatores
microRNAs (miRNAs) são pequenos fragmentos de RNA não codificantes que atuam
em especial no CECP. Dessa forma, o objetivo dessa revisão é ilustrar qual a relação
dos miRNA e a alimentação em CECP, com ênfase nos fatores de risco e de proteção
biomarcadores.

INTRODUÇÃO
responsável por cerca de 9,6 milhões de mortes, ou uma em cada seis mortes, em
2018 (WHO, 2021). Estima-se mais 30,2 milhões de novos casos e 16,3 milhões de
mortes para 2040 (IARC, 2020). Dentre os sítios anatômicos acometidos pelo câncer,
(DUPREZ et al., 2017). Além disso, tais doenças malignas estão associadas a fatores
