1. Para falar de ações habituais (rotina diária, estilos de vida, hábitos, frequências);
Ex.: Susan takes her children to school every day. (to take)
Ex.: My mother always fixes breakfast for me. (to fix= preparar)
4. Falar sobre ações que acontecerão no futuro, com horário ou períodos agendados no
presente;
Ex.: King Charles I abdicates and his son Philip becomes Philip II. (to abdicate/ to
become)
Ex.: First you get all the ingredients, then you mix them in a bowl. (to get/ to mix)
8. Verbos que expressam um tipo de significado: a feeling (um sentimento), a fact (um
fato), a repeated action (uma ação repetida), a thought (um pensamento);
Ex.: Matheus loves sport. (a feeling)
Ex.: Please give the secretary this message as soon as she arrives.
Ex.: Nobody worries about you. (Ninguém se preocupa com você.) (to worry)
Ex.: The man focus at the accident. (to focus – enfocar, focar, focalizar, pôr em foco)
Ex.: Anna kisses her children with love. (to kiss – beijar)
Ex.: Bob bruhes his teeth three times a day. (to brush – escovar)
Ex.: Mr. Santos teaches History at Guarani School. (to teach – ensinar)
Ex.: A bee buzzes on the honey. (to buzz – zumbir, zunir, cochichar sussurrar)
Ex.: Mandy does her homework regularly. (to do – fazer)
D. Nos verbos terminados em (“Y”), precedido de vogal, segue a regra geral (“S”);
Ex.: Mr. Gulliver plays volleyball every Saturday. (to play – brincar, jogar, tocar)
E. O verbo TO HAVE (ter, possuir) tem uma conjugação especial nas 3ª (nas terceiras)
pessoas do singular (HE/ SHE/ IT), ele troca para (“HAS”).

• Como usar os adverbs of Frequency. Eles vêm antes dos verbos comuns, e
depois dos verbos TO BE (am, is, are), (was, were).
• LOCUÇÕES ADVERBIAIS:
• Usamos para os pronomes (I, YOU, WE, YOU, THEY) - DO ? - DO NOT ou DON’T.
• Usamos para os pronomes (HE, SHE, IT) - DOES ? - DOES NOT ou DOESN’T.
• INTERROGATIVE FORM:
Ex.: Does Julie play soccer on Sunday/ on Sundays? YES, she does. / NO, she doesn’t.
● Os auxiliares DO/ DOES/ DID, não aparecem em sentenças afirmativas, eles NÃO
aparecem nas sentenças negativas.
