1.2 Reset
ATENÇÃO
O Reset deverá ser feito obrigatoriamente em toda instalação ou troca de placa eletrônica
ou algum motoredutor da cadeira. Não orientar o cliente o procedimento de reset em
casos de travamento da cadeira. Havendo este problema, o técnico deve identificar a
causa raiz e resolver o problema.
Para realizar o reset na cadeira, manter pressionada a tecla da direita (10), em seguida
desloque ou tecle a placa (12) para a direita (C) no Pedal de Comando. Manter os
comandos acionados até os motores se movimentarem, soltando-os em seguida. Assento
e encosto serão movimentados automaticamente para a posição cujos parâmetros estão
armazenados na memória de fábrica. Após a finalização dos movimentos, conferir se
assento e encosto estão chegando aos seus limites mínimos e máximos, acionando os
movimentos individualmente (Assento para cima /Assento para baixo / Encosto para frente
/ Encosto para trás).

Mesa 4T
Posicionar um nível de bolha sobre a mesa e verificar o nivelamento. O ajuste é feito
afrouxando-se / apertando-se os parafusos de fixação da mesa.
Mesa 5T/S
Posicionar um nível de bolha no interior da mesa e verificar o nivelamento. O ajuste é feito
afrouxando-se / apertando-se os parafusos de fixação da mesa.
Retirar o tampão do braço giratório. Girar o parafuso no sentido horário para aumentar a
frenagem ou no sentido anti-horário para diminuí-la. Recolocar o tampão.

2.4 Ajuste da pressão da mola do braço pantográfico do equipo
Recolocar o tampão. Para checar a eficiência deste ajuste, puxar o braço para baixo até
seu limite e soltá-lo. O braço deverá parar na posição horizontal.
Observação:
Certificar o perfeito encaixe da bucha plástica no alojamento da coluna do suporte.

Retirar o capô da cadeira. Fechar o registro geral de água da rede. Eliminar a água das
tubulações abrindo o registro da cuspideira. Desconectar a mangueira da conexão de
água da rede e em seu lugar conectar o manômetro referência 10039278. O parafuso
correspondente ao terminal diâmetro 4,8 milímetros deve estar aberto e os demais
fechados. Utilizar o terminal de redução referência 02714261 para a conexão das
mangueiras. Abrir o registro. A pressão indicada no manômetro deve estar entre 2,5 ± 0,1
bar. Observação: Caso exista no local um regulador de fluxo, a pressão fornecida de
entrada antes do regulador pode variar de 2,5 a 6 Bar. Retirar o capô da cadeira. Fechar o
registro geral de água da rede. Eliminar a água das tubulações abrindo o registro da
cuspideira.
Caso a pressão não alcance o valor indicado, o cliente deverá providenciar a correção. Se
a pressão estiver acima do valor indicado, deverá ser informado ao cliente a necessidade
da aplicação de uma válvula redutora de pressão para rede de água.

3.3 Checagem da pressão estática do ar dos reservatórios de água
para o spray, Assepto Sys e Seringa
Caso a válvula não atinja o valor de 3,1 ± 0,2 Bar, esta válvula deve ser substituída sem
romper o lacre. Certificar-se que o manômetro esteja calibrado.

3.4 Checagem da eficiência dos sugadores (em produtos com sistema venturi)
Encher um copo com 175 mililitros de água. Succionar todo o líquido com o sugador
6,3mm. O tempo deve ser de no máximo 25 segundos a 5,5 bar.
Para as suctoras que possuem o segundo sugador 6,3mm repetir a operação acima.
Fazer vazão necessária para garantir que não haja obstrução da rede em algum ponto,
evitando o refluxo depois de uma determinada quantidade de água na tubulação.
A bica de água deve fornecer 175 mililitros de água num tempo entre 4 e 6 segundos.
A vazão pode ser regulada conforme necessidade, no regulador que atua sobre a
mangueira de alimentação da bica de água para o copo.

de baixa e alta rotação

Desconectar todos os instrumentos das respectivas mangueiras. Conectar a mangueira
correspondente ao instrumento no dispositivo referência 10039374.
A pressão (dinâmica) ideal deve ser de 2,2 bar. Se necessário, ajustar o valor da pressão
no parafuso regulador (A) da válvula correspondente ao instrumento.

1.2 Reset
ATENCIÓN
El Reset deberá ser hecho obligatoriamente en toda instalación, o cambio de tarjeta
electrónica o algún moto reductor de la silla. No guiar el cliente a realizar el procedimiento
de reset en casos de traba de la silla. Existiendo este problema, el técnico debe identificar
la causa raíz y resolver el problema.
Para realizar el reset en la silla, mantener presionada la tecla de la derecha (10), luego
desplace o tecle la tarjeta (12) para derecha (C) en el Pedal de Comando. Mantener los
comandos accionados hasta que los motores se muevan, soltándolos inmediatamente.
Asiento y respaldo serán movidos automáticamente para la posición cuyos parámetros
están almacenados en la memoria de fábrica. Después de la finalización de los movimientos,
verificar si el asiento y respaldo están llegando a sus límites mínimos y máximos,
accionando los movimientos individualmente (Asiento hacia arriba /Asiento hacia abajo /
Respaldo hacia adelante / Respaldo hacia atrás).

2 Verificaciones y ajustes mecánicos
2.1 Verificación y ajuste del nivel del brazo horizontal del equipo
Posicione mesa y brazos del equipo conforme lo mostrado. Coloque un nivel de burbuja
sobre el brazo horizontal y verifique el nivelado.
El ajuste es realizado aflojando ligeramente los tornillos de fijación del soporte de succión
en el sillón y regulando los tornillos rosqueados en el soporte del sillón.
Mesa 4T
Coloque un nivel de burbuja sobre la mesa y verifique el nivelado. El ajuste es realizado
aflojando / apretando los tornillos de fijación de la mesa.
Mesa 5T/S
Coloque un nivel de burbuja en el interior de la mesa y verifique el nivelado. El ajuste es
realizado aflojando / apretando los tornillos de fijación de la mesa.
2.3 Ajuste del freno del movimiento giratorio del brazo pantográfico del equipo
Retire el tapón del brazo giratorio. Gire el tornillo en sentido horario para aumentar el
frenado o en sentido antihorario para disminuirlo. Reinstale el tapón.

2.4 Ajuste de la presión del resorte del brazo pantográfico del equipo
Para realizar esta regulación, interrumpa el suministro de aire para el equipo. El ajuste es
obtenido apretando / aflojando el sistema localizado dentro del brazo pantográfico. Retire
el tapón de goma. Gire el tornillo en sentido horario para aumentar la presión o en sentido
antihorario para disminuirla.
La regulación debe ser realizada con 500g sobre la mesa del elemento del dentista.
Reinstale el tapón. Para verificar la eficiencia de este ajuste, lleve el brazo hacia abajo
hasta su límite y suéltelo. El brazo deberá parar en la posición horizontal.
2.6 Ajuste del freno del movimiento del brazo pantográfico del reflector

Retirar el capot del sillón. Cerrar el registro general de agua de la red. Retirar el agua de
las tuberías abriendo el registro de la escupidera. Desconectar la manguera de conexión
de agua de la red y en su lugar conectar el manómetro referencia 10039278. El tornillo
relativo al terminal del diámetro 4,8 milímetros debe estar abierto y los demás cerrados.
Usar el terminal de reducción referencia 02714261 de conexión de las mangueras. Abrir el
registro. La presión indicada en el manómetro debe estar en 2,5 ± 0,1 bar.

3.3 Chequeo de la presión estática del aire de los depósitos de agua
para el spray, Assepto Sys y Jeringa
El tornillo correspondiente del terminal diámetro 3,175 mm debe ser abierto y los otros
fechados.
La presión indicada en el manómetro debe ser de 3,1 ± 0,2 Bar.
Si la válvula no obtiene el valor de 3,1 ± 0,2 Bar, está válvula debe ser cambiada sin
romper el sello. Asegúrese de que el manómetro es calibrado.

Llenar un vaso con 175 mililitros de agua. Succionar todo el líquido con el succionador de
6,3mm. El tiempo debe ser de 25 segundos a 5,5 bar. Repetir la misma operación con el
succionador 9,5mm. El tiempo debe ser de 8 segundos lo máximo.
Realizar el test de escurrimiento del desagüe, verificando que tenga un caudal de 01 litro
de agua cada 12 segundos (5L/min). Realizar el caudal necesario para garantizar que no
haya obstrucción de la red en algún punto, evitando el reflujo después de una determinada
cantidad de agua en la tubería.
El caudal puede ser regulado conforme la necesidad, en el regulador que actúa sobre la
manguera de alimentación de la salida del agua hacia el vaso.

3.6 Chequeo y ajuste de la presión del aire de propulsión para los
instrumentos de baja y alta rotación
Borden
Desconectar todos los instrumentos de las respectivas mangueras. Conectar la manguera
respectiva al instrumento en el dispositivo referencia 10039374.
Usar el patrón (8) referente al instrumento.
Accionar el pedal de mando (posición máxima). Verificar la presión en el manómetro.
La presión (dinámica) ideal debe ser de 2,2 bar.
Si es necesario, ajustar el valor de la presión en el tornillo regulador (A) de la válvula
respectiva del instrumento.

1 Electrical adjustment
1.1 Changing the rated voltage
To change the nominal operating voltage of the equipment is done by changing the
connection of the black wire in the connector bar. It is necessary to adjust the size of the
mains input fuse.

1.2 Reset
WARNING
The reset proceure must be done after the product installation or every time the chair
electronic board or gearmotor is changed. It´s not allowed to advise the customer to execute
the reset procedure in cases of dental chair locking. If this problem occurs, the
technician must identify the root cause and correct the problem.
To execute the reset in the dental chair, maintain pressed the key on the right (10), and
then pressed or move the plate (12) in direction right (C) in the Foot Control. Maintain the
commands activated until the motors move, then releasing them. Seat and backrest will be
moved automatically to the position whose parameters are atored in the factoy memory.
After the ending of the movements, check if the seat and backrest are reaching their
minimum and maximum limits, activating the movements individually (Seat upwards / Seat
downwards / Backrest forwards / Backrest backwards).

1.4 Automatic setting for the 2nd pre-programmed position
The Seat and backrest will be moved automatically to the 1st pre-programmed position,
and these parameters will be stored in the memory. For the movement to occur by pushing
the foot control, all instruments must be placed in their respective holders (for table 5T).
These parameters can be changed as follows:
- For the movement to occur by pushing the foot control button, all instruments must be
placed in their respective support (for table 5T).
- Press KEY 44 in the Pad Control To stop the automatic movement, press any of the keys
that operate the movement of the chair on the Pad Control, or Move the plate (12) in any
direction.

2.3 Adjust the swivel movement brake of the pantograph arm of the treatment
center
Remove the plug from the rotating arm. Turning the screw clockwise to increase the
braking or counterclockwise to decrease it. Reattach the plug.

2.4 Adjust the spring pressure of the swivel arm of the treatment center
To perform this adjustment, interrupt the supply of air to the equipment. The adjustment is
done by loosening/tightening the system located inside the swivel arm. Remove the rubber
plug.
Turn the screw clockwise to increase pressure or counterclockwise to decrease it. The
adjustment should be carried out with a 500g weight on the dentists table.
Reattach the plug. To check the efficiency of this adjustment, pull the arm down to its limit
and release it. The arm should remain in the horizontal position.
Lift the coupling guard. Release the column. Open the plastic bush and place it in the
channel at the desired height. There are five positions with a distance of 3 cm between
them.
Note:
Ensure a perfect fit of the plastic bush in the support column housing.
2.6 Adjust the movement brake of the swivel arm on the treatment center
lighting unit
Release the plug and position the arm as shown. The adjustment carried out by tightening
or loosening-if the existing screw.

3 Hydropneumatic adjustments and checks
In the dental chair inlet, disconnect the pressure regulating valve outlet hose and in its
place connect the pressure gage reference 10039278.
The screw corresponding to the terminal diameter 4.8 millimeters of the pressure gage
must be open and the others closed. The pressure indicated on the pressure gage must be
5.0 – 5.5 bar. If adjustment is required, do it in the pressure regulating valve.
Open and close one of the screws of the pressure gage reference 10039278, in order to
depressurize the system.
Readjust the pressure value to 5.0 - 5.5 bar in the pressure regulating valve, if required.

Remove the dental chair cover. Close the main water switch of the network. Eliminate the
water in the piping opening the rinsing bowl valve.
Disconnect the hose of the water network fitting and in its place connect the pressure gage
reference 10039278. The screw corresponding to the terminal diameter 4.8 millimeters
must be open and the others closed.
Use the reduction terminal reference 02714261 for the fitting of the hoses. Open the valve.
The pressure indicated on the pressure gage must be between 2.5 ± 0.1 bar. Note: If there
is in the place a flow regulator, the inlet pressure provided before the regulator can vary
from 2.5 to 6 Bar. Remove the dental chair cover. Close the main water switch of the
network. Eliminate the water in the piping open the rinsing bowl valve.
If the pressure does not attain the value indicated, the customer shall make the correction.
If the pressure is above the value indicated, the customer shall be informed of the
requirement to apply a pressure reducing valve for the water network.

3.3 Check and adjustment of static pressure of air of the water reservoirs for
the spray, Assepto Sys and Syringe
Disconnect the air pressure regulating valve outlet hose of the reservoirs and in its place
connect the pressure gage reference 10039278, in the terminal of diameter 3.175 mm.
The screw corresponding to the terminal diameter 3.175 mm must be open and the others
closed. The pressure indicated on the pressure gage must be 3.1 ± 0.2 Bar.
If the valve does not attain the value of 3.1 ± 0.2 Bar, it must be replaced without breaking
the seal. Make sure the manometer is calibrated.

3.4 Check of efficiency of saliva ejectors (in equipment with venturi system)
Fill a cup with 175 millimeters of water. Suction all the liquid with the 6.3mm saliva ejector.
The time must be at most 25 seconds at 5.5 bar.
For the suction systems which have the second 6.3mm saliva ejector repeat the aforesaid
operation.
Execute the drain runoff test, checking that it has a flow of 01 liter of water every 12
seconds (5L/min). Execute flow required to ensure that there is no obstruction of the
network at any point, avoiding the backflow after a certain quantity of water in the piping.
The water nozzle must provide 175 milliliters of water between 4 and 6 seconds. The flow
may be adjusted as required, on the regulator that operates on the water nozzle supply
hose into the tumbler.

3.6 Checks and adjustments of the drive air pressure to the Borden low and high-
speed instruments
Borden
Disconnect all hoses from their respective instruments. Connect the hose to the device
corresponding to the instrument reference 1.003.9374.
Use the default (8) for the relevant instrument.. Actuate the foot control (maximum
position). Check the pressure gauge.
The ideal pressure (dynamic) should be 2.2 bar. If necessary, adjust the pressure on the
screw regulator (A) valve for the relevant instrument.

Electric Micromotor
For the Electric Micromotor the pressure adjustment shall be different. The hose of the
micromotor is not compatible with 10039374 regulating device, use a Borden Universal
hose for regulation.
Activate the foot control (maximum position). Check the pressure in the pressure gage.
The ideal pressure (dynamic) must be 1 bar. If required, adjust the value of the
pressure in the regulating screw of the valve corresponding to the Electric Micromotor.
Midwest
The control must be done with a four-way manometer ref. 0.411.8731 and with the
instrument adapted to it.
With the foot control in the maximum position, check the pressure shown on the gauge.
The pressure shown on the gauge should be the recommended pressure for the
instrument. (See the user manual for the instrument).
If necessary, adjust the pressure regulator screw on the value corresponding to instrument.

Connect the hose corresponding to the instrument in the to the device reference #
1.003.9374, using the adapter (A).
Operate the foot control (maximum position). Check the pressure shown on the gauge.
If necessary, adjust the pressure on the screw regulator valve for the relevant instrument.
