● É um dos gêneros argumentativos, com a característica principal de convencer o leitor das ideias que foram coladas no
discurso.
● Pode ser usado por um grupo de pessoas que querem expor o seu direito a cidadania, através de manifestações.
● O manifesto é usado para as pessoas mostrarem seu posicionamento firme a respeito de um problema social, político,
religioso ou cultural.
● É usado também quando queremos expor algo que ainda nem todo a população sabe, ou ainda pode funcionar como um
alerta sobre a possibilidade de um problema vir a ocorrer.

motivo do manifesto).

Entendemos que a vida deve ser preservada e que não há justificativa para tamanha crueldade. (A justificativa para a existência deste
manifesto).

Exigimos a revisão de leis que tratam do assunto, uma vez que as que temos no momento não atendem mais às demandas do mundo
atual. (Neste parágrafo é apresentada uma sugestão de solução para a problemática apresentada no primeiro parágrafo do manifesto).
