ROLAMENTOS
BEARINGS
A maioria dos rolamentos consistem em anis com pista (canal) (anel interno e externo), os elementos rolantes (esferas ou rolos) e o
separador ou gaiola. A gaiola separa os corpos rolantes, prendendo-os em seu lugar dentro das pistas (interna e externa) e lhes permite
girar livremente.
Geralmente, o anel interior se encaixa no eixo e o anel externo da caixa.
Os corpos rolantes so de dois tipos: as esferas e e rolos.
Os rolos podem ser de 4 tipos: cilndrico, agulha, cnicos e esfrico.
O contato entre a esfera e a pista um ponto enquanto entre o rolo e a pista uma linha.
Os tipos de gaiolas diferem de acordo com a forma como eles so fabricados incluindo
gaiolas prensadas, usinadas e modadas.
Most bearings consist of rings with raceway (channel) (inner and outer ring), the rolling
elements (balls or rollers) and the separator or cage. The cage separates the rolling
elements, holding them in place inside the tracks (internal and external) and allows
them to rotate freely.
Generally, the inner ring is fitted on the shaft and the outer ring in the housing.
The rolling elements are of two types: balls and and rolls.
The rollers can be 4 types: cylindrical, needle, tapered and spherical.
The contact between the ball and the raceway is a point while between the roller and the raceway is a line.
The types of cages differ according to the way they are manufactured including pressed cages, machined and modadas.

Os rolamentos fi xos de uma carreira de esferas so mais representativos atendendo a um extenso campo de
aplicaes. O canal da pista em ambos os aneis, interno e externo, apresenta um perfi lateral em arco, com
raio ligeiramente maior que o raio das esferas.
Alm da carga radial, permite o apoio da carga axial em ambos os sentidos.
Como o torque de atrito pequeno torna-se preferido para as aplicaes que requeiram baixo rudo e
vibrao bem como alta rotao.Diversos tipos construtivos esto disponveis, como mostrado nas figuras
abaixo. De um modo geral so mais encontrados com gaiola de ao prensada.
Deep groove ball bearings are most representative meeting a wide range of applications. The raceway in both
rings, inner and outer side, has a profiling arched slightly larger radius than the radius of the spheres.
In addition to the radial load, allows the support of the axial load in both directions.
As the friction torque is small becomes preferred for applications requiring low noise and

ROLAMENTOS MAGNETO (MAGNETO BALL BEARING)

O canal da pista do anel interno um pouco menos profundo que o do rolamento fi xo de esferas e o anel
externo tem sada em um dos lados podendo ser desmontado.
So rolamentos pequenos com dimetro do furo de 4 a 30 mm, usados principalmente em pequenos
geradores (Magneto), giroscpios e instrumentos indicadores.
Geralmente, as gaiolas utilizadas so as prensadas de lato.

ROLAMENTOS DE CONTATO ANGULAR (ANGULAR CONTACT BALL BEARING)

Os rolamentos deste tipo permitem o apoio da carga radial e, de carga axial em um nico sentido. A esfera e os anis interno e externo
formam ngulos de contato de 15, 25, 30 ou 40. Quanto maior o ngulo de contato maior ser a capacidade de carga axial. Por outro
lado, quanto menor o ngulo de contato melhor ser a sua utilizao em altas rotaes.
Geralmente, as gaiolas utilizadas so as prensadas de ao, mas para os rolamentos de alta preciso com ngulo de
contato menor que 30, so utilizadas principalmente, as gaiolas de poliamida. Tambm so fornecidos com gaiolas de lato.
Os rolamentos de contato angular so muito utilizados em montagem combinada ( montados aos pares). Existem 3 tipos de montagem aos
pares: face a face (face to face), costas a costas (back to back) ou em srie (tandem).
Bearings of this type allow the support of the radial load and axial load in one direction. The ball and the inner and outer rings form contact

ROLAMENTOS AUTOCOMPENSADOR DE ESFERAS (SPHERICAL OR SELF ALIGNING BALL BEARING)

O anel interno possui duas pistas e a pista do anel externo tem formato esfrico. O centro do raio que forma esta
superfcie esfrica coincidente com o centro do rolamento, conseqentemente, o anel interno, as esferas
e a gaiola inclinam-se livremente em relao ao anel externo.
Os erros de alinhamento que ocorrem devido aos casos como o do desvio na usinagem do eixo e
alojamento, e as decincias na instalao so corrigidos automaticamente.
Alm disso, existem tambm os rolamentos de furo cnico que so xados atravs de buchas.
Adequados para solicitaes em que haja dificuldade de alinhamento do eixo em relao
ao alojamento e em eixos de transmisso de movimento com facilidade de fletir;
A capacidade de carga axial reduzida por ter pequeno ngulo de contato;
O desalinhamento permissvel de 4 a 7 para cargas normais.

Os rolamentos de rolos cilndricos tm maior capacidade de carga radial que os rolamentos de esferas de mesmas dimenses externas e so
particularmente adequado para servios pesados. O rolamento apresenta uma linha de contato modificada entre rolos e as pistas para
eliminar concentrao de tenses. Esses rolamentos tm uma elevada capacidade de carga radial sendo adequados para altas velocidades.
Devido ao design desmontvel, tem a vantagem de montagem do anel interno e anel externo separadamente.
A direco da carga axial que pode ter um rolamento, dependendo da geometria do rolamento. Muitas variaes disponveis
so apresentados a seguir:.
The cylindrical roller bearings have greater radial load capacity than ball bearings of same external dimensions and are
particularly suitable for arduous duties. The bearing features a modified line contact between rollers and raceways to eliminate
edge stressing. These bearings have a high radial load capacity and are suitable for high speeds. Due to detachable design
character they have advantage of mounting inner ring and outer ring separately.

ROLAMENTOS DE ROLOS ALONGADOS (ELONGATED ROLLERS BEARINGS)

No chegam a se constituir uma classe em separado sendo
considerados rolamentos de rolos cilindricos. Como a largura do
rolete maior tambm maior a capaidade de carga.

ROLAMENTOS DE AGULHAS (NEEDLE BEARINGS)

Nos rolamentos de agulha so inseridos um grande nmero de rolos nos e alongados com comprimento de 3 a 10 vezes o dimetro.
Conseqentemente, com a reduzida proporo do dimetro externo em relao ao dimetro do crculo inscrito dos rolos, possuem
capacidade de carga radial comparativamente maior. Portanto, so extremamente indicados para arranjos de rolamentos onde o espao
radial limitado.
Alm disso, existem tipos e classi caes como: com anel interno e sem anel interno ou com gaiola e sem gaiola. Nos rolamentos com gaiola
so usadas, principalmente, as gaiolas prensadas de ao.

ROLAMENTOS DE ROLOS CNICOS

(CONICAL ROLLER BEARINGS)

Os rolamentos de rolos cnicos so projetados de forma que o vrtice dos cones formados pelas pistas do anel interno e externo, e pelos
rolos, coincidam em um ponto na linha de centro do rolamento. Quando se aplica uma carga radial, d-se origem a uma componente de
carga axial. necessrio usar dois rolamentos em oposio, em alguma combinao ou de duas carreiras. So usados para cargas
combinadas, ou seja, carga radial e axial.
O ngulo de contato determina a capacidade de carga axial do rolamento. Quanto maior o ngulo, maior a capacidade de carga axial.
ngulo intermedirio: C = 20;
ngulo grande: D = 28;
ngulo normal: sem sufixo = 17.
Tapered roller bearings are designed so that the apex of the cone formed by the raceways of inner and outer ring, and by rollers, coincide at
a point on the bearing centerline. When applying a radial load, it gives rise to an axial load component. You must use two bearings in

Os rolamentos axiais so divididos em dois grupos bsicos, escora simples ou dupla. Os de escora simples tm as esferas em um separador e
dois anis (superior e inferior).
Os anis m uma superfcie de apoio, que pode ser plana ou esfrica e a pista do lado oposto.Na montagem devem ficar perfeitamente
suportadas de modo que haja a correta distribuio da carga. Esse tipo de rolamento usado para suportar cargas em apenas um sentido.
Rolamentos axiais de escora dupla so usados onde h reverso do sentido da carga. Neses h dois anis externos com as pistas, um anel
intermedirio alm das esferas e separadores - 2 conjuntos.
H 3 tipos de acordo com o aspecto do anel externo: assento plano; com assento esfrico; com contraplaca esfrica
Os Rolamentos Axiais de Esferas com Assento Plano, no permitem qualquer desalinhamento angular entre o eixo e o alojamento, nem
podem compensar qualquer erro de ngulo, entre a superfcie de apoio no alojamento e o eixo. No so adequados para uso em alta
velocidade. Os limites de velocidade esto indicados nas tabelas dos fabricantes.
The thrust bearings are divided into two basic groups, single and double direction. The single direction type has the ball in a separate, two
rings (upper and lower).
The rings on a supporting surface, that can be flat or sphered, and raceway at opposite side. During assembly, it should be fully supported so
that there is the correct load distribution. This type of bearing is used to support loads in only one direction.
Thrust bearings double directions are used where there is reversal of the load actuation. In these types there are two outer rings with the
racewaystracks, an intermediate ring beyond the spheres and cages - 2 sets.
There are 3 types according to the aspect of the outer ring: flat seat; with spheredl seat; with sphered seat washer.
Thrust Ball Bearings with Seat Plan, do not allow any angular misalignment between the shaft and the housing, or can offset any angle error
between the support surface in the housing and the shaft. Are not suitable for use in high speed. Speed limits are indicated in the tables of
the manufacturers.

Rolamentos axiais de contato angular de esferas apresentam baixo atrito e funcionamento silencioso quando operando em altas velocidades.
Eles tambm so menos sensveis ao desalinhamento. Apesar de rolamentos axiais de esfera terem sido projetados exclusivamente para

Os rolamentos axiais de agulhas so dotados de uma gaiola que retem e orienta as agulhas. Esses rolamentos so capazes de suportar m
cargas axiais e cargas de choque pesadas. As extremidades dos rolos so levemente abauladas para modificar a linha de contato entre as
pistas e os rolos. Isso evita picos de tenso nas extremidades do rolo, levando ao prolongamento da vida til do rolamento.

and axial m shock loads. The ends of the rollers are slightly rounded for changing the line of contact between the tracks and the rollers. This
prevents voltage spikes on the roller ends, leading to the extension of the life of the bearing.
The thrust needle bearings provide a high degree of rigidity within a minimum axial space. In applications where the faces of adjacent
components can act as clues, thrust needle roller bearings do not take up more space than a conventional thrust washer.
