TTULO: Maquiavel e o republicanismo moderno.

I OBJETIVOS

O objetivo desta disciplina examinar como o iderio republicano, retomado e

reformulado pelos humanistas da Renascena italiana, foi tratado por Maquiavel.
Pretende discutir, por meio da anlise de alguns captulos dos Discorsi sopra la prima
deca di Tito Livio (1519), o que foi mantido, modificado e abandonado da tradio
republicana no pensamento poltico de Maquiavel. A inteno entender, por meio
desse estudo, a formao de uma das principais matrizes do republicanismo moderno.
