UMA EDIÇÃO MISTA E COMPLETA, COM DIVERSIDADE DE ASSUNTOS, MAS SEMPRE COM A
CRIATIVIDADE COMO DIRECIONAMENTO. Desde que a CATARINA foi lançada, sua missão permanece

a mesma: ser colecionável. Nossa preocupação nunca foi ter a revista na sua estante ou mesmo no seu HD, como
arquivo. Ser colecionável significa ser tão relevante a ponto de ser material para estudo, tendo matérias com
profundidade sobre cada assunto, construída por uma estética desejável, daquela que agrada aos olhos de quem a
contempla. Ao longo desses anos de mercado, o desafio de ser colecionável aumenta e fica sempre mais difícil, mas
nunca impossível. Se há fontes de informações sobre um assunto, não vemos motivo para trazer esse mesmo tema
para nossa revista. Queremos assuntos que não sejam comuns para nossos leitores; buscamos matérias que os tornem
mais bem informados através da construção de um painel mental criativo e, como numa colcha de retalhos, que
cada um desses leitores una as informações que lhe convir. Esse é o papel da CATARINA como revista de jornalismo
de moda: fortalecer a individualidade de cada leitor que dedica tempo da sua vida para a leitura das nossas páginas.

alemã, decidi que a Dinamarca seria nosso destino antes de chegarmos aos eventos alemães. Decidido isso, a primeira
providência foi escolher o perfil de estudo a ser traçado. Optei por conhecer os dois extremos: uma marca estabelecida
e reconhecida, outra que acaba de nascer pelas mãos de um novo talento dinamarquês.
Foi então que pesquisei e busquei por Barbara I Gongini, um dos maiores nomes da moda, reconhecida pelo seu
trabalho autoral e representativo para o cenário vanguardista. Para contrapor informações e assim podermos construir
um painel abrangente, entrevistei a jovem Natasja Qvitzau Lund, que lançou em 2009 sua marca Nuit Comme Oui,
trilha um caminho tão vanguardista quanto Bárbara e segue construindo sua carreira como destaque da nova geração.
O mais especial foi descobrir no meio da entrevista com Natasja que Barbara I Gongini é uma das suas inspirações
– uni-las em uma mesma matéria é uma enorme satisfação.
