Para esta segunda edição do Relatório, versão 2016, o CEMAVE atualizou a lista nacional
de aves migratórias, com base em dados da literatura, do Sistema Nacional de Anilhamento
de Aves Silvestres - SNA , do site Wikiaves e aprimorou os critérios para definição das áreas
importantes para as aves migratórias no Brasil. Assim os mapas foram atualizados, com novas
áreas de concentração de aves migratórias estabelecidas.
