Abstract. This paper is concerned with the recent advances and researches in automatic techniques
for radiographic image analysis applied on pipeline nondestructive inspection processes. In the
recent years, modern digital radiographic equipments have supported industrial inspection tasks,
enhancing image visualization aspects for the detection of internal defects in mechanical parts,
equipments and welds joints. However, the radiographic image analysis process is still performed
by human inspectors and the development and construction of an automatic radiographic image
analysis tool is necessary in order to improve the inspection process velocity and reliability. This
work is a technical survey that intends to provide current references, from several authors, about
developed techniques for automatic analyses of radiographic images and to support the
development and implementation of a suitable tool for nondestructive inspection of pipelines in the
petroleum and gas industry.
1. INTRODUÇÃO
2. METODOLOGIAS
A imagem (d) é o

O desenvolvimento e a implementação deste projeto
