Dialogue 1:
Mary: Hello, Kelly. How are you?
Kelly: I´m fine, thank you. And you?
Mary: I´m fine, too. I´m lost. Where´s the university?
Kelly: It´s around the corner!
Mary: Really? So it´s near the bus stop.
Kelly: Yes, it is. What are you going to do there?
Mary: I´m attending a lecture about Politics. Would you like to join me?
Kelly: Sure. Let´s go!
Para perguntar onde fica algum lugar específico, use Where´s the...?
(Onde fica o/a...) ou How do I get to the...? (Como eu chego ao...).

Repare que, ao informar John sobre o caminho até o hotel, Robert utiliza
das seguintes sentenças:
Go straight ahead until you get there. – Siga em frente até chegar lá.

igreja.
(…) follow the signs. – Siga as placas de sinalização.

Na primeira lição, você viu alguns locais da cidade:
It´s on the left. – Fica à direita. It´s between the… and the… –
It´s on the right. – Fica à esquerda. É entre… e …
It´s near the… – É próximo (a) ao… It´s on … street*. – É na rua …
It´s far from the… – É longe do (a)… It´s across the street. – É do outro lado da rua.
It´s at 16, … street*. – É na rua …, número 16.
It´s in the middle of the block. – É no meio do
quarteirão.
LESSOn 2
Na lição 2, você aprendeu a usar do imperativo. Relembrando: é o tempo
verbal que utilizamos quando queremos dar ordens, instruções e, inclusive,
conselhos. Para colocá-lo em prática, basta que você saiba o infinitivo do
verbo (forma sem conjugação) que deseja utilizar.

Na lição 4, você aprendeu as preposições que deve utilizar com cada meio
de transporte, a depender do contexto:
1. (bank/ across from the street) The bank is across from the street.
2. (hospital/ near the clinic) The hospital is near the clinic.
3. (ATM/ between the supermarket and the school) The ATM is
between the supermarket and the school.
4. (airport/ far from the university) The airport is far from the
university.
5. (library/ in the middle of the block) The library is in the middle of
the block.
