Ementa:
As características da teorização sobre as organizações com base nas diversas filosofias
da ciência utilizadas na área de administração (positiva, interacionista, crítica e pós-
moderna). A teoria como um argumento. As abordagens dedutiva e indutiva. A lógica
informal: retórica, dialética, raciocínio lógico, matemática e linguagem. Estruturação de
argumentos. O uso efetivo de evidências e fontes. Desenvolvendo o contraponto.
Argumentos causais. Falácias. Dois modos de pensar: modelos de variância e processo.
Delineamento de pesquisa baseado em variância. Delineamento de pesquisa baseado em
processo. A relevância da pesquisa.
