1. OBJETIVO DO PROCEDIMENTO:

O principal objetivo deste procedimento é de configurar a BIOS da máquina e

aplicar a instalação do SO.

2. REQUISITOS:

O usuário que utilizar este programa necessitará de sua S-Account em mãos.

3. DESCRIÇÃO DO PROCEDIMENTO:

3.1. Abrir ou verificar se o programa MECM Console* está instalado na máquina.

3.2. Caso ele não esteja instalado, solicitar a instalação pendente de aprovação pelo
Software Center (necessita estar com o usuário em grupo S-Account para
aprovação).

4. Verificar o MAC do computador.

Sempre antes de começar a instalação da imagem SO do Windows na máquina,
certifique-se de ter em mãos o endereço MAC da mesma.

4.1. Para conseguir o endereço MAC, ligue a máquina e rapidamente aperta a tecla
“F12” para acessar a BIOS do computador. A BIOS irá abrir, no menu localizado na
esquerda,

3.1.9. Creating new machine in SCCM 2012

Access “Import Computer Information”

To import the machine information, it must first be accessed option “Import
Computer Information”. To access this option, you must select the left menu to the
screen Overview>Devices. With option “Devices” selected, go to “Home” tab and
click on “Import Computer Information” icon.

3.1.10. Import Single Computer

In the new screen that opens, select the "Import Single Computer" and click the
"Next" button, as shown in the image below. This option indicates that the image
will be downloaded in just one machine.

3.1.11. Fill with host information

On the next screen, you must fill in the fields machine information which will be
downloaded the image.
Fill in the fields "Computer Name" and "MAC Address (12 hex characters)", after
the fields filled click "Next".
IMPORTANT: Always check and make sure that the fields are filled in correctly.

3.1.12. Verifying information

In the screenshot below, show the information filled in the machine in the fields of
the previous screen. Click "Next" to the next screen.

3.1.13. Add new computers only to the All System collection

Select "Add new computers only to the All System collection" option and click
"Next", as shown in the image below.

3.1.14. Information Confirm

The screen below will show the machine information’s, which must confirm by
clicking the "Next" only if all the information is correct.

3.1.15. New machine creation was successful

Import has been made successfully and will create a new machine in SCCM.
IMPORTANT: Always wait about 20 minutes for the new machine created appears
in SCCM.

3.1.16. Download the image on the new machine

Add Selected Items

After the machine creation on SCCM, go to the hostname, right-click and select
"Add Selected Items> Add Selected Items to Existing Device Collection", as shown
in the figure below.

3.1.17. Selecting Operating System

In the new screen, you must select which operating system image you want to
download the new engine and click "OK".

3.1.18. Configuring BIOS

Turn on the machine and access the BIOS config. Use the document “DAF-103-
DOC- How to configure BIOS to apply new images (http://dafshare-

%20images.docx)” to prepare the BIOS setup to work with the selected OS.

Save the changes and turn on the machine clicking at "F12" key, will appear to boot
option, select the "Onboard NIC" and click the Enter to continue.

3.1.19. Downloading the image

When “Onboard NIC (IPV4)” option is setted is expected to image download begins.
After download the image, the machine will be ready for use.

3.2 BIOS UPDATE

3.2.1 Accessing Dell Drivers Download Page

Access http://www.dell.com/support/home/br/pt/brdhs1?app=drivers&~ck=mn
and enter the product service tag and press the “Green Arrow” button.

3.2.2 Select and Download BIOS Driver

Select BIOS on “Categoria” and click on Download icon as shown on the image
below.

3.2.3 Run the application as s-user or admin.

3.2.4. Updating BIOS

Press OK again, in case of laptops: it must be connected on the AC power adapter

A new window will be displayed, where the INSTALLED version and the UPDATE
version is shown (System BIOS), if the update version is newer than the installed
version, click on “OK”, otherwise click on “Cancelar” and JUMP TO STEP 3.2.

The system will reboot and the BIOS installation will start as shown on the
following image.
DO NOT TURN OFF THE POWER, OR DISCONNECT AC POWER ADAPTER
IN CASE OF LAPTOPS.

After that the BIOS has updated and Windows will start.
