Complete the task.

Write an informal email of about 80 to 100 words inviting a friend to a surprise party for
a mutual work colleague.

Your email should include:

- INTRODUCTION
o reason for the invitation
o who the party is for and why there is a party
o when and where the party will take place

- MAIN BODY
o what to bring to the party
o what (s)he can do to help
o how to find the place or give him/her directions to the party

- CONCLUSION
o ask him/her to give a timely reply to your email

Your writing will be evaluated on the style, organization, logical development, and

complexity of your text, as well as the richness and precision of vocabulary,

accuracy of grammar and spelling, and the suitability for the intended audience.

No aids are allowed (dictionaries, spell check, etc.).
