Two slaves are standing in the changing room. The slaves are Sceledrus and Anthrax.
Sceledrus: why are you not working Anthrax? Surely you are not asleep.
Anthrax: What did you say? I work very carefully. I am guarding the citizens togas.
Sceledrus: Guard togas? You are a liar!
Anthrax: Why are you blaming me? I am not a liar. I am guarding togas!
Sceledrus: You are blaming, because a theif is in the changing room, but you dont care.
Anthrax: where is the theif? I cant see a theif!
Sceledrus: Look! That man is a theif. He is an easily recognisable theif.
( Sceledrus shows the theif to Anthrax. THe theif takes of his toga and puts on a beautiful toga. The
slaves immediately run.)
Anthrax: What have you done? Scoundrel! This toga is not yours!
Thief: What are you doing? This is my toga!
Anthrax; I recognize you, you are a poor man but are wearing an expensive toga.

Togas Guarda: Sceledrus? Voc um mentiroso!
Anthrax: Por que voc est me culpando? Eu no sou um mentiroso. Estou guardando togas!
Sceledrus: Voc est culpando, porque um ladro no vestirio, mas voc no se importa.
Anthrax: onde est o ladro? Eu no posso ver um ladro!

(Sceledrus mostra o ladro a Anthrax. THe ladro leva de sua toga e coloca em uma bela toga. Os
escravos executar imediatamente.)
Anthrax: O que voc fez? Canalha! Este toga no sua!
Thief: O que voc est fazendo? Esta a minha toga!
Anthrax; Eu reconheo que voc, voc um homem pobre, mas est vestindo uma toga caro.

19 O comerciante e os escravos no ouvir o ladro, mas arrast-lo para um juiz!
