Alienação de Imóvel – Aparecida de Goiânia

A Eternit S.A. – Em Recuperação Judicial (B3: ETER3, “Eternit” ou “Companhia”), em cumprimento

à Instrução CVM 358/2002, vem comunicar aos seus acionistas e ao mercado em geral que,
conforme informado nos autos do processo de Recuperação Judicial do Grupo Eternit, foi finalizado
o leilão judicial do imóvel de Aparecida de Goiânia/GO, constante do Plano de Recuperação
Judicial do Grupo Eternit, tendo sido o lance vencedor no valor de R$ 24.500.000,00. Os recursos
obtidos no leilão serão destinados à quitação do saldo dos credores concursais da Opção A da Classe
III (credores quirografários).

A Companhia manterá os seus acionistas e o mercado em geral informados, na forma e nos prazos
estabelecidos pela legislação aplicável, a respeito dos assuntos tratados neste Fato Relevante.

MATERIAL FACT
Divestment of property – Aparecida de Goiânia

Eternit S.A. – Under Court-Supervised Reorganization (B3: ETER3, “Eternit” or “Company”), in

compliance with CVM Instruction 358/2002, hereby informs its shareholders and the market that, as
informed in the records of the Court-Supervised Reorganization case of the Eternit Group, the
court-supervised auction for selling the property located in Aparecida de Goiânia/GO, which is part
of the Court-Supervised Plan of Eternit Group, was concluded, with the winning bid in the amount
of R$24,500,000.00. The proceeds obtained from the auction will be used to pay the balance of the
qualified creditors of Option A of Class III (unsecured creditors).

The Company will keep its shareholders and the market informed of the developments related to
the subject-matter of this Material Fact notice, in accordance with the rules and timeframes
established by the applicable legislation.
