field capacity. Agriculture requires a soil with rapid absorption and effective water
storage. The objective was to evaluate the water infiltration rate conforming land
use. To achieve the goal were evaluated intensities of rainfall 280 mm / hour, using
the Cornell infiltrometer in no-tillage (NT) and no-tillage with crop rotation
(SPDR), Eucalyptus cultivation field and preserved forest. The design was
completely randomized (DIC) and five repetitions. The variables evaluated
responses were: Infiltration and time for the run-off. It was also determined, the
penetration resistance (RP) during the execution of the work. The data were
submitted to ANOVA and means compared by Tukey test at 5% probability, the
Assistat program. The variables analyzed showed a significant difference between
the native forest and the SPD, with the forest infiltration 100% of the water used,
while the SPD infiltration was 15.67% for the SPDR infiltration was 41.67% and
Eucalyptus plantation was 67.27%. It is concluded from this study that soil where
organic matter most of this much water infiltration as the penetration resistance
are more favorable to the system implanted in it.
