RESUMO
Através da descrição de trabalho psicanalítico em enfermaria de hospital geral, tomado como exemplo de clínica extensa em
Psicanálise, o artigo discute o conceito de função terapêutica como a “função transferencial” que tende a deslocar os
valores de senso comum, permitindo a emersão de representações quase insuportavelmente reveladoras da lógica de
concepção ou lógica do inconsciente. Grupo de Investigação em Função Terapêutica é o nome que o autor atribui ao
trabalho desenvolvido com um grupo de enfermagem.(AU)

ABSTRACT
This paper discusses the concept of therapeutic function through the description of psychoanalytic work in a general
hospital ward that is offered by the author as an example of extended clinic in Psychoanalysis. It is defined as a transferential
function that displaces common sense values and brings about representations that almost unbearably reveal the logic of
conceiving – or the logic of the unconscious. The author names the experience developed with this group of nurses as Group
of Investigation on Therapeutic Function.(AU)

El trabajo discute el concepto de función terapéutica como la “función transferencial” que lleva a dislocar los valores de
censo común para permitir la emersión de representaciones cuasi casi insoportables, reveladoras de la lógica de concepción
– o lógica del inconsciente. El autor llama Grupo de Investigación en Función Terapéutica al trabajo descrito y desarrollado
con un grupo de enfermeros.(AU)
