SAFRA 2023/24
safra.
semeadura e manejo, além do clima favorável. No caso do milho no estado do Maranhão o período de semeadura
prejudicou levemente o projeto.

serão negociados no melhor momento.
2024/25, conforme demonstrado a seguir:

estimative for cotton and corn crops:
2023/24 2023/24
∆%
Yields (kg/ha) Crop Year Crop Year
Budget (b) Forecast (c) (c) x (b)
Cotton lint 1st crop 1,927 2,071 2.5
Cotton lint 2nd crop 1,839 1,974 5.6
Cotton seed 2,372 2,422 0.5
Soybean (Commercial + Seed) 3,918 3,276 -17.0
Corn 2nd crop 7,685 7,255 -4.3
Cotton showed a better production potential than the budget, because it has a good sowing and crop management
period beyond the favorable weather. In the case of corn in Maranhão state the sowing period slightly hindered
the project.

2024/25 Crop Year
An important part of the inputs to the crop season 2023/24 were already bought, although the cost per hectare
is still underway. It was acquired in total 100% of potash, 92% of phosphate, 94% of nitrogen, and 85% of crop
protection. That said, we'll release the estimates of costs by crop in October 2023, in our Public Meeting, after the
approval of the budget by the Board of Directors.
The Company is monitoring the exchange ratio between commodities price and fertilizers price and the remaining
part of the inputs will be acquired pursuing the right momentum. Given the price-fixing of part of the inputs, we
advanced in the hedge of the 2024/25 crop season, as shown below:
