01. Desmontaje

- Remove the FG pincers if there is one;

- Retirar la pinza FG en caso de que exista;

- Remove the spray hose;

- Retirar la manguera de spray;

- Loosen the screw that fastens the intermediary on

the elbow;

- Desenroscar el tornillo que fija la intermediaria en el

codo;

- Take out the intermediary from the knee;

- Desencajar la intermediaria de la rodilla;

- Loosen the screw that fastens the intermediary on

the head;

- Desenroscar el tornillo que fija la intermediaria en la

cabeza;

- Remove the intermediary from the head;

- Retirar la intermediaria de la cabeza;

- Remove the o-ring (1) and the snap ring (2);

- With the 10039075 tool, unscrew (left hand thread)

the assembled gearing. If it is not possible to
remove the drill bit, use the 10037280 tool;

- Use la herramienta 10039075 para desenroscar

(rosca izquierda) el engranaje montada. En caso de
que no sea posible retirar la broca, use la
herramienta 10037280;

- Remove the assembled gearing bearing;

- Retirar el rodamiento de la engranaje montada;

- Support the head on a wood block. Remove the

elastic pin that fastens the fastening spring with the
aid of 10039385 and 10038370 tools;

- Apoyar la cabeza sobre un bloque de madera.

Retirar el pin elstico que fija el resorte fijador,
haciendo uso de las herramientas 10039385 y
10038370;

- Take out the fastening spring;

- Desencajar el resorte fijador;

- With the aid of two 10037319 tools unscrew the

elbow from the cover;

- Haciendo uso de dos herramientas 10037319,

desenroscar el codo de la capa;

complete shaft from the rear housing;

- Pull out the bushing and remove the pin that

fastens the drag to pull;

Set of parts after removal of the pin.

- With the hammer 10038370 and the pin punch

10039385, remove the pin that fixes the pinion to
the shaft;

02. Montaje

- Fit the spring and then the bush to hold the drag
piece;

- Encajar el resorte y posteriormente el buln para

fijar el arrastre;

- Attach the drag piece;

- Encajar el arrastre;

- Insert the pin;

- Encajar el perno;

- The bush runs over the drag piece, holding the pin
in position;

- El buje corre por sobre el arrastre, manteniendo el

- Fit the assembled shaft in the rear housing.

Observe perfect fitting so that the assembled shaft is
well set in the guide of the rear housing;

- Encajar el eje montado en el cuerpo trasero.

Observar el encaje perfecto para que el eje montado
est bien acoplado en el gua del cuerpo trasero;

- Screw the elbow to the cover,

- Enroscar el codo en la tapa;

- With the help of two pliers 10037319 squeeze

between the elbow and the cover;

- Con el auxilio de dos pinzas 10037319 ajustar entre

el codo y la tapa;

- If there is a lack that has called off the

transmission, use the tool to perform 30026675
tightening the threaded ring.

- Si hay fuelga o una desconexin en la transmisin,

utilice la herramienta 30026675 para apretar el anillo
roscado.

To use this grip a torque wrench. Use 2N grip.

Para utilizar este apreto use una llave de torsin.

Fuerza de 2N.

Important
The threaded ring is not subject to removal by
reason of the ring assembly with pressure.

El anillo roscado no est sujeto a remocin por razn
del conjunto de anillo con presin.

- Fit in the fastening spring;

- Encajar el resorte fijador;

- Support the head on a block of wood. Press the

cylindrical pin in the head. Observation: this
operation becomes necessary when one uses a new
head;

- Apoyar la cabeza sobre un bloque de madera.

Prensar el pin cilndrico en la cabeza. Obs.: esta
operacin debe ser realizada cuando se usa una
nueva cabeza;

- Fit the bearing on the assembled gearing;

- Encajar el rodamiento en la engranaje montada;

- Fit the assembled gearingr with bearing on the

head;

- Encajar la engranaje montada con rodamiento en la

cabeza;

- Caso haja folga que tenha acarretado desconexo

na transmisso, utilizar a ferramenta 30026675 para
realizar o aperto do anel roscado.
Para este aperto utilizar um torqumetro. Use aperto
de 2N.
Importante
Este anel roscado no passvel de desmontagem
em virtude da montagem com anel de presso.

- Encaixar a mola fixadora;

- Apoiar a cabea sobre um bloco de madeira.

Prensar o pino cilndrico na cabea. Observao:
esta operao faz-se necessrio quando se utiliza
uma nova cabea;

- Encaixar o rolamento na engrenagem montada;

- Encaixar a engrenagem montada com rolamento

na cabea;

- Fit in the o-ring (1) and the snap ring (2);

- Encajar el o-ring (1) y el anillo de presin (2);

- Fit the intermediary on the head. Note: to identify

correct fastening, place the intermediary that has the
recess (A) on the head;

- Encajar la intermediaria en la cabeza. Obs.: para

identificar la correcta fijacin, posicionar la
intermediaria que posee el rebajo (A) en la cabeza;

- Tighten the screw that fastens the intermediary on

the head. Use thread lock adhesive (Loctite 221);

- Roscar el tornillo que fija la intermediaria en la

cabeza. Usar una cola traba/rosca (Loctite 221);

- Fit in the head with the intermediary in the elbow.

Note: to identify correct fastening, place the
intermediary that has the recess (B) in the elbow;

- Encajar la cabeza con la intermediaria en el codo.

Obs.: para identificar la correcta fijacin, posicionar
la intermediaria que posee el rebajo (B) en el codo;

- Tighten the screw that fastens the intermediary on

the elbow. Use thread lock adhesive (Loctite 221);

- Roscar el tornillo que fija la intermediaria en el

codo. Usar una cola traba/rosca (Loctite 221);

- Fit in the hose;

- Encajar la manguera;

- Fit in the FG pincers.

- Encajar la pinza FG.

03. Prueba de funcionamiento

Noise/Vibration
At maximum speed, the handpiece must not create
noise and vibration which are greater than the
standard instrument.

Ruido/Vibracin
En la mxima rotacin, la pieza de mano no deber
presentar ruidos y vibracin, que sean superiores al
instrumento padrn.

Retaining strength test of the FG chuck

The FG chuck must support at least a weight of 25
N (2.55 kgf).Test parameters: special 25 N device.
Fit in the 1.6 0.002 mm test pin fastened to the
device on the pincers and then suspend the weight
of 25 N.

Prueba de fuerza de retencin del mandril FG

El mandril FG debe sustentar no mnimo un peso de
25 N (2,55 kgf).Prueba parmetros: dispositivo
especial de 25 N.
Encajar el pin prueba de 1,6 0,002 mm fijado al
dispositivo en la pinza y despus de suspender el
peso de 25 N.

Fastening of the drill bit and chuck

Placement of the drill bit / chuck and the lever
movement must be light.

Fijacin de la broca y mandril

La colocacin de la broca/mandril y el movimiento de
la palanca, deben ser livianas.

Analysis of the spray water

The spray water must fall on the tip of the drill bit of
1X19 mm length, with a water pressure precalibrated at the input of the micro motor between
80 and 100 kPa (0.8 and 1.0 bar). Also to test, the
water passage must provide at least a flow of 50
ml/min.

Anlisis del agua del spray

El agua del spray debe incidir en la punta de la broca
de 1X19 mm de longitud, con una presin de agua
pre calibrada en la entrada del micro motor, entre 80
y 100 kPa (0,8 y 1,0 bar). Tambin, para probar el
pasaje del flujo que debe ser de 50 ml/min.

Imperviousness
The handpiece must not present leakage coming
from the spray water/air. Couple the handpiece on
the micro motor, pressurize the system with a water
pressure of 2 bar, close the spray exit and observe
for 15 seconds if there is no fall in pressure or
leakage.

Estanqueidad
La pieza de mano no debe presentar fugas
provenientes del aire/agua del spray. Acoplar la pieza
de mano en el micro motor, cargar el sistema con
una presin de agua de 2 bar, cerrar la salida del
spray y observar durante 15 segundos, sino se
produce la cada de presin o de derrames.

Disinfecting
Disinfecting of the contra angle must be external by
means of a disinfectant agent with a base that is not
acid, ammonia, hydrochloric or 70% hydrated ethyl
alcohol.

Desinfeccin
La desinfeccin del contra ngulo debe ser externa,
por medio de un agente desinfectante de base no
cida, amoniacal, clorhdrica o alcohol etlico
hidratado a 70%.

Lubrication
Lubricate the Contra Angle before each sterilization
cycle. Press the tip of the bottle against the tube of
larger diameter of the handpiece and squeeze the
activating lid of the bottle for 2 to 3 seconds.

Lubricacin
Lubricar el Contra ngulo antes de cada ciclo de
esterilizacin. Presionar el pico del frasco contra el
tubo de dimetro mayor de la pieza de mano y
apretar la tapa accionadora del frasco de 2 a 3
segundos.

Use nly original Kavo lubricants (KaVo UNISpray or

KAVOspray). The use of inadequate lubricants may
lead to premature wear and failure of the handpiece.
KaVo guarantees the non-toxicity of its lubricants.

Usar solamente lubricantes originales de KaVo

(KaVo UNISpray o KAVOspray). El uso de
lubricantes no adecuados puede ocasionar un
desgaste prematuro y falla de la pieza de mano.
KaVo, garantiza que sus lubricantes no son
productos txicos.

Rudo/Vibrao
Na mxima rotao, a pea de mo no dever
apresentar rudos e vibrao, que sejam superiores
ao instrumento padro.
Teste de fora de reteno do mandril FG
O mandril FG deve sustentar no mnimo um peso de
25 N (2,55 kgf).Teste parmetros: dispositivo
especial de 25 N.

Encaixar o pino teste de 1,6
mm fixado ao
dispositivo na pina e aps suspender o peso de 25
N.
Fixao da broca e mandril
A colocao da broca/mandril e o movimento da
alavanca, devem ser leves.
Anlise da gua do spray
A gua do spray deve incidir na ponta da broca de
1X19 mm de comprimento, com uma presso de
gua pr-calibrada na entrada do micro motor, entre
80 e 100 kPa (0,8 e 1,0 bar). Tambm para testar a
passagem deve fornecer no mnimo uma vazo de
50 ml/min.
Estanqueidade
A pea de mo no dever apresentar vazamento
provenientes do ar/gua do spray. Acoplar a pea de
mo no micro motor, pressurizar o sistema com uma
presso de gua de 2 bar, fechar a sada do spray e
observar durante 15 segundos, se no ocorre queda
de presso ou vazamento.
Desinfeco
A desinfeco do contra ngulo deve ser externa,
por meio de agente desinfetante de base no cida,
amoniacal, clordrica ou lcool etlico hidratado a
70%.
Lubrificao
Lubrificar o Contra ngulo antes de cada ciclo de
esterilizao. Pressionar o bico do frasco contra o
tubo de dimetro maior da pea de mo e apertar a
tampa acionadora do frasco de 2 a 3 segundos.
Empregar somente lubrificantes originais da KaVo
(KaVo UNISpray ou KAVOspray). A utilizao de
lubrificantes no
adequados pode conduzir a um desgaste prematuro
e falha da pea de mo. A KaVo garante a no
toxidade de seus lubrificantes.
