Abstract
Objective: To offer pediatricians an actualization on migraine headaches.
Method: A non systematic literature review of MEDLINE indexed publications, through PUBMED
was done. Manuscripts with emphasis on evaluation and management were reviewed, either
historical as well as the newest ones.
Results: Migraine is one of the leading causes for recurrent headaches in children and adolescents.
It has important implications on quality of life in those individuals.This disorder might be diagnosed
