Substantivos incontáveis não têm "limites definidos claramente" e por isso não podem ser
contados. Portanto, não podemos usar números ou "a / an" com substantivos incontáveis e
eles não têm uma forma plural. Em vez disso, podemos usar "some".
Usamos "there is a / there is one" com substantivos contáveis singulares e "there are some /
there are (número 2+)" com substantivos contáveis plurais.
There is a good restaurant near my house. (Há um bom restaurante perto da minha
casa.)

There are some bananas on the table. (Há algumas bananas na mesa.)
There are four eggs in the fridge. (Há quatro ovos na geladeira.)
Para expressar a não existência de substantivos contáveis, usamos "there isn't a" para
substantivos singulares ou "there aren't any" para substantivos plurais.
Para expressar a não existência de substantivos incontáveis, usamos "there isn't any" ou
"there is no".
