Início da Operação Comercial da 3ª Unidade Geradora da UTE Jaguatirica II

Rio de Janeiro, 24 de maio de 2022 – ENEVA S.A. (B3:ENEV3), em atendimento ao disposto no

artigo 157, parágrafo 4º da Lei nº 6.404/76, conforme alterada, e às disposições da Resolução
CVM nº 44, de 23 de agosto de 2021, informa aos seus acionistas e ao mercado em geral que a
Usina Termelétrica Jaguatirica II (“UTE Jaguatirica II” ou “Usina”), no estado de Roraima, recebeu
autorização da Agência Nacional de Energia Elétrica (Aneel) para iniciar a operação comercial da
terceira unidade geradora, a turbina a vapor, com capacidade instalada de 43,528 MW, a partir
desta data.

A UTE Jaguatirica II é movida a gás natural extraído do campo de Azulão, no estado do Amazonas.
A Usina começou a fornecer energia para o Sistema Isolado no dia 15 de fevereiro de 2022, com
a operação comercial da primeira turbina a gás, cuja capacidade instalada é de 48,653 MW. No
dia 09 de março de 2022, a segunda turbina, de igual capacidade, recebeu aprovação para iniciar
a operação comercial. Com a entrada em operação da terceira turbina, a planta atinge sua
capacidade instalada total de 140,834 MW.

MATERIAL FACT

Start of Commercial Operation of Jaguatirica II TPP’s 3rd Generating Unit

Rio de Janeiro, May 24, 2022 – ENEVA S.A. (B3: ENEV3), pursuant to article 157, paragraph 4 of Law
6,404/1,976, as amended, and to the provisions of CVM Resolution 44, of August 23, 2021, hereby informs its
shareholders and the market in general that, on this date, the Jaguatirica II Thermoelectric Power Plant
(“Jaguatirica II TPP” or “Plant”), in the state of Roraima, received approval of the National Electric Energy
Agency (Aneel) to start commercial operation of its third generating unit, the steam turbine, with an installed
capacity of 43.528 MW.

Jaguatirica II TPP is powered by natural gas extracted from the Azulão field, in the state of Amazonas. The
Plant started supplying energy to the Isolated System on February 15, 2022, through the commercial operation
of the first gas turbine, with installed capacity of 48.653 MW. On March 9, 2022, the second turbine, of equal
installed capacity, received approval to start commercial operation. With the start of operation of the third
turbine, the plant reaches its total installed capacity of 140.834 MW.
